Some hefty contracts being handed out there. Should make GSW feel better about their roster/cap situation.

I knew Olynyk was way out of our range, but that is a lot for TJ.

That list is shrinking fast.

I hope Batum is still an option

Pelicans actively trying to have the worst defensive team in the league

Heat desperately trying to stay in the 40-45 win range

The only news I've really given a **** about is that OPJ is willing to sign with Brooklyn, which means hes likely in for the TPMLE. Which is fine considering we probably dont have a spot for him, but gives me some hope that players in a similar situation might take the TPMLE. Batum is I guess one as well, though I'm nowhere near as huge a fan of him as this board seems to be.. I'd still be gunning for a RoLo type big first

Woj: Torrey Craig signs 2-year deal, worth $10M, with the Indiana Pacers.

Monte Poole QT Woj and tweets "Cross off one vet wing for Warriors." Might have been some interest in Craig.

If you arent signing an elite FA, odds are you are overpaying.. and so far, the only deal I like at all is Noel at 3-32. The rest are hot garbage

- Nerlens Noel
- Dwight Howard
- Robin Lopez
- Javale McGee
- Hassan Whiteside
- Gourgi Dieng
- Taj Gibson

Alternatively, some odd fits of guys who may want to rehab value going into next season:

- Cody Zeller
- Daniel Theis
- Andre Drummond
- Kelly Olynyk

Only lost 3 off the bigs list so far.. and those 3 were pretty expected. Drummond and Zeller I expected to go too. But so far so good in terms of vet bigs.

EDIT: crossed off Theis

So Miami now has

a 35, soon to be 36 y/o PG on a 3 year deal (not to be confused with the other 35 year old PG making 19m this year)
a temperamental star on a max deal who seems to piss off teammates and wear out welcomes
a 16m/yr Kyle Korver
a SG who's gone all Hollywood in Miami despite being average

Poor Bam.. when the Heat eventually flop, he's the guy that needs to be pulled out of the wreckage

I have always liked Theis and he would fit well with the Warriors, I will be curious to see what he gets in FA.

As much as I can't stand Dwight he could help our team during the regular season but in the postseason he can get played off the floor.

Jazz with Paschall interest. Unclear how this would work since he can't really salary match up to anyone interesting in Utah.

Maybe laying groundwork for a 3 team in case Oubre S&T becomes possible and Lacob is ready to spend....?
- 2nd + Oubre -> Oubre's team of choice
- TPE + Paschall + Picks to Jazz
- Ingles or Bogdan to Warriors?
