#2 pick to Celtics for Marcus Smart (TPE) & 14 & 26 pick?

I would Target Cole Anthony if he drops that low
and whoever at 26. Celtics hopefully want to cut costs but also Ainge gets another asset (if he hits then he's loaded). Warriors get a tested veteran plus two first rounders.

Curry/Cole Anthony
Klay/Smart/Poole
Wiggins/rookie/Lee
Green/Paschal
Quese/Looney/Smailagic

plus vet min on a wing or big

I've gotten roasted on the main board for proposing Smart for #2 straight up. Boston is not adding on top of that.

ya never know. east is wide open next few years. Tatum & Jaylen + a Wiseman or whoever is good. sure they get depth at 14 & 26 but it's a start driven league -- two star wings plus Kemba plus Wiseman? worth losing Smart imo.

The Warriors still have to play a little of the long game in case Giannis becomes available next year. Drafting Edwards or Wiseman gives them a another piece to use in a potential trade and keeps their package to the Bucks the most compelling.

They still have the tools (TPE & MLE) to get better for next year.

Wow, that's an interesting take. If they draft Wiseman and he looks to be a keeper, that would put them in a no lose situation.

I'm biased here, I do think this is the opportunity to finally have a solid center, so I'm hoping it's Wiseman and that he pans out.

Celtics fans are facing the reality in 2020 that their championships have been overrated. Those Bill Russell years were in a different era where there were much fewer teams. The ones that count are the Larry Bird years with Robert Parish and Kevin McHale and Kevin Garnett with Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.

Look at how unglued superfan Bill Simmons has become after the Lakers tied their all-time championships record. What ajoke they are!

The only offer they were willing to make was oft-injured Gordon Hayward and his huge contract in trade. They think their injured player is actual trade bait for teams based on past history. Forget trading with the Celtics and Danny Ainge before the draft. After they draft and they find they're not as good for the playoffs, then they'll be ready to trade for a C.

Any deal worth making with the Charlotte Hornets? I haven't seen them enough to know who they want to keep. No on Cody Zeller as he doesn't shoot the 3-ball and even start all their games. Below average starter. No even though he's an expiring contract. Sure on PJ Washington and probably Miles Bridges, but I think they want to get James Wiseman to team with these guys.

ETA: I'd go for Miles Bridges if they put him up. He's 22, athletic, can play SF and some PF. Okay defender. Forget former Celtic Terry Rozier as he's overpaid. Devonte Graham is 6' 1", but can shoot the 3-ball, score, and make plays. The Hornets would prolly want to keep him.

Cody Zeller does shoot the three. He is one of those players who does a little bit of everything and hustles up and down the court. I wouldn't mind him on the Warriors at all.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

I would hate to use the TPE on Zeller unless we plan on trading him down the line since he’s an expiring.

Zeller + #3 pick doesn’t net us a Ben Simmons or anyone big time just yet

Hornets need to give us either 2022 pick protected between top1 or top 3 or they need to give us 4 2nds, including pick 32, their 2 2021 2nds and their 2022 2nd. If they desperately want Wiseman then pay up. I mean this has always been a 1 or 2 player draft and Wiseman is one of them

Would have to think Hornets are looking to make a deal with the Wolves pick rather than ours to grab Wiseman.

Yeah but what if Ball goes no. 1 and the Warriors are higher on Edwards than Wiseman? They could move down a spot, get another body at center and an additional pick while getting the player they want...

I like Wiseman and Edwards and would be happy with either. It all comes down to who the Warriors believe has the highest potential as I don't see a rookie coming in and making a strong impact on a championship team. I could see both of them providing a roll next season and developing into a key piece down the road tho.

If the Warriors could move down 1 spot, still get their guy (while assuming any further than the 3rd pick they may not), and pick up Miles Bridges... that would be a pretty great pickup.

I've seen Zeller play live once and wasn't impressed. Besides, he makes about a $1 M+ above the TPE phew.

I just read this article on hoopshype. Interesting about redoing the 2013 draft. We should go after one or two of the guys on the list -- https://hoopshype.com/lists/2013-nba-re-draft/.

No argument there. That roster is a mess.

I agree with his ultimate conclusion, Beal is a tier 2 player and not worth trading Wiggins + 2 and possibly Minny's 2021 pick. Beyond the fact that he is not a tier 1 star he also doesn't really fit the core of the Warriors.
