SURELY that would tempt Cleve
If it's unprotected I think you have to do it. I'd bet it would be top 10 protected, but you still kinda have to do that.
If it was protected I don't see that being enough. I don't think people are very high on Bledsoe right now, and rightfully so, he's basically the new Eric Gordon.
True, and I do get that perspective, but Kyrie's value will only go lower.
To your point though I think they should get as close to the haul Utah got for Deron Williams (who was 2 years older than Kyrie) as possible. So two firsts and a high potential young player. The argument Phoenix will make is that JJ is basically still a top draft pick and Bledsoe, at 27, is still as high of potential as Favors was back then, which I think is fair given he's a 21/6/5 guy when healthy. He also does way more than Eric Gordon ever did and can actually operate as a PG.
I guess you can hold out for another first and emphasize Kyrie's age, but you're playing with fire. Nobody HAS to trade for him and it's pretty clear he won't be traded within the East.
The best option for Cleveland is to tell him to suck it up and play out his contract.
