And why should we bring in another 6’9” center? We have Chriss and Looney at that size. Even if I admit that Wendell Carter might be better than Chriss, it’s arguable. And Chriss is Uber athletic compared to Carter.

I do not see why we would give up anything but a 2nd for WCJ.

Am I missing something? His numbers look pedestrian across the board and he's undersized.

Anyone that can handle the ball and finish at a high level inside at the rim and play at his own pace while having top notch vision is the best Luka comp. I can see a bit of that with Deni. He had a high % at the rim and has vision but his ball handling is worse and he plays faster than Luka so not close. Definitely not Lamelo, he sucks at finishing at the rim, not as strong as luka and his 3point shot isn't respected

I love that you stated in the WWNET thread that you’re wrong about everything. I really appreciated that.

Keep up the good work!

I’m no long interested in centers with a top 5 pick, unless they’re over the top special

Just don’t draft a big. How has the Warriors done drafting in the top 15 in the last 20 years?

Guards. Curry, Klay, Jason Richardson
Wings. Dunleavy, Barnes, Pietrus
Bigs. POB, Biedrins, Diogu, Udoh, Murphy, Randolph,

Much more miss than hit when you go big.

I think it’s going to be either Edwards or Avidija. If we trade down Haliburton or vassell

Obviously Poku's body needs work, but my god, the ball-handling ability and the court vision at his size is intoxicating.

Everyone talks about Ball as the highest IQ player in this draft, but I really think it's Poku. Why i've had him between 1-5 on my board basically all year.

I don't know enough about his character, work ethic, etc. But if all of those boxes were checked by Bob, i'd be totally fine with him at 2.

Yes I know that will not happen, but I can dream.

Poku will not be picked in the lottery. The reason is that he won’t be able to defend the 4. He doesn’t have the body type for bangers and he’s got even bigger bodies like Porzingas 7’3” at that position.

I love his skills but he needs to move to the guard position primarily and play some small forward. He basically is not strong enough to play the 3 right now in the NBA. His non transition offence revolves around lots of jump shooting and playing off the fake. He needs to shoot better to stay on the floor. He can be a great play maker on offence but on defence needs to guard smaller, quicker players.

I would trade assets and pick him in the mid to late twenties. A development guy for sure. Imagine a 7 foot Klay as his ceiling.

In the best scenario, he is Durant light, playing the 3 and sliding into the 4. But I can’t see him guarding the 4 position like Durant can. He looks more like a 2-3 guy to me.

How is kd-lite not the best prospect in this draft potential wise? He’ll grow into guarding 4s by his 3rd year. Remember the league is going smaller, plus poku got tree trunks for legs.

If we had time to develop him he’d probably be no 1 on my board. A 7’ that can shoot on the move and run off screens and shoot, can dribble, can make some incredible passes and reads. He has the highest potential it’s just how long will it take him to get there.

Best case scenario is KD lite. meaning about a 10 percent chance. Low probability. He may never get there. If teams thinks he will get there for sure, he’s a top 3 pick. He won’t be that high.

I don't see how anyone can be watching these playoffs and still want to draft Wiseman. McGee, Howard and maybe even AD are about to be schemed off the court.

For me any big man we draft high better have Tim Duncan/KG quality footwork and skill set. Those guys would be dominant centers today. I don't care about 3pt shooting ability in a center. He better just have midrange and low post finishing ability.

Unfortunately big men these days tend to neglect those things. They all want to shoot 3s and gallop to the rim for alley oops, nothing in between.

They were never taking Wiseman. Zero chance.

Let’s do a minor bet. And of course the bet will have to be.....if Wiseman is on the board when they pick type of bet. And the bet is null and void if by miracles chance there’s a Giannis deal on the table.

So maybe a wig or something. I’m actually cool if I’m wrong. I’m wrong all the time, just ask my wife lol.

I know you have some connections, but the statement you are making is a strong one. So let’s bet it

WCJ could be a shorter WCS or added trade bait. Ideally, Ws would like to deal the #2 straight up, but one has to explore trading down. With the Bulls, if they give up Lauri Markkanen + #4, then it would be a done deal. At #4, we can grab Obi Toppin or even trade down further to try and get a big. Yet, Giannis would be the grand prize if he decides to leave and then gives a short list of teams that he would go to.

Because it WAS Nellie 50 years ago. Look at those 70s Celtics teams and you'll find 10 guys between 6'5" and 6'8", a few shorter and a couple taller. It was positional flexibility and a team game.

No to Obi. Trade down with the Bulls for Lauri, yes.
