Bogut will be more useful next series, since neither SAS nor OKC can field a small lineup

Bogut was really good against the Spurs but played very poorly against OKC in the regular season matchups. I'm more concerned with Steph being 100% again and Draymond being okay tbh.

Aminu specifically killed us. He was by far their best offensive player and was decent defensively. He definitely benefited from the defense collapsing on Dame or McCollum. Once he got going from deep though he made a few pretty well contested 3's. It's like the W's forgot he could hit 3's is what I thought earlier in the series, so I looked up his numbers. Aminu shot about 36% this year from deep, but prior to that been pretty underwhelming. SSS maybe, we'll see if he carries it into next season but maybe he can be their "Slightly Deeper Pockets Version of Harrison Barnes" on a nicer contract.

Plumlee was horrid offensively, obviously but he killed Portland with the turnovers. Stotts should probably blame himself ultimately for his unwillingness to mix it up and try Davis/Vonleh a bit more b/c holy schnikies does a 27.5 % TO rate kill your offensive chances. He wasn't so bad defensively or rebounding but in this series against the W's they needed to score to keep up. Especially after Curry returned.

Dame had a weird series. Averaged over 30/game but shot like crap overall. Was a sniper from deep, took care of the ball and set up his team mates. McCollum was inefficient overall, and didn't contribute much defensively. Ended up being a volume 20 point scorer this series. I think the W's would take that at the end of the day.

Hopefully Bogut's injury doesn't keep him out for too long. Love his antics and turning Ian Clark into a human mop, but I cringe at the thought of having to play AV big minutes against the Cavs/Spurs/Thunder.

Varejao and Speights both suck defensively.

I don't want to see them getting destroyed against OKC.

Boguts injury - http://www.coreperformance.com/knowledge/injury-pain/groin-strain.html

Looks like he'll be out for the while. Depends on what grade strain it is. Could be a week, 2-3 weeks or 2-3months. Let's say he's out 2-3 weeks. That means he's not gonna be able to play in WCF. Damn Spurs need to win because their bigs other than Aldridge aren't scary at all.

What a wierd game. POR shoots only 41%, but goes nuts (again!) from 3-point land. Then so many questionable whistles enabling Lillard bountiful free trips to the FT line, enabling POR to 10 more FTAs.

Definitely concerned about Bogut's groin/adductor and Draymond's ankle :/

Good to have 4-6 days off

Lillard is that type of player, volume shooter, who can catch fire just like Curry. He just doesn't shoot a high percentage. A lot of people think he is headed down the Westbrook path, where he has more efficient shooters playing along side him and he needs to know when to shoot and when not to. At least he doesn't play as out of control as Westbrook does.

Another poor officiating game. It almost seemed like the Warriors were playing in Portland.

Monday if the other series ends in 6, Wednesday if it ends in 7. 5-7 days rest. Hoping Bogut will be back by then, esp vs OKC.

She was dancing by herself. The guy next to her grabbed her leg from behind and pushed her into his legs.

add Crabbe to that. I really like that guy

Yeah their role players shot well, especially Aminu and Crabbe.

But if you look at the shooting by Lillard and McCollum, they were volume shooters. Lillard shot over 40% from 3 but shot like around 40% overall. He made a lot of difficult shots to win game 3 down the stretch but then some of those shots weren't falling in other games.

They're talking about getting a major free agent or two but you'd think these guards will remain the main scoring options. So maybe they get a better rebounder and rim protector inside.

Though the whole roster is young and on cheap contracts, so I don't know that someone like Howard is necessarily a big upgrade. Plus their freewheeling game was enabled because Aldridge left and the guards and the wings spread the floor.

What was odd was that the Curry family was up on the box but Aisha was in the stands closer to the court? She had to high-five some random dude instead of celebrating with the rest of the family?

That 'random dude' is Steph's former teammate. Relax

Stop hating.

His stint last night was quite good. Kerr wants him to play 5 minutes of energy basketball and that's why he was all over the place when he gets in there.

His first pass got Curry a 3, he hit a tough on the move layup. And hustled his azz off. Also drew a foul with a great flop.

I watched it again last night on dvr and he got the crowd hyped

Those completely hating on the defense need to take into account the pace. The defense was rock solid when it needed to be, but both teams take incredibly quick shots before the defense can get set up.

Props to Aminu and Harkless hitting open shots. I remember people used to slam Barnes for making open shots. Its not so easy. It looks easy, but add in pressure and expectation, and those open looks become tougher.

These guys could really use a week off. I feel like they're just out of rhythm due to the Curry injury....not only that, but Curry is still not 100% while Draymond and Bogut are banged up.

Has anyone on here had an MCL sprain before? The reason I ask is because I'm wondering how long it took before you felt completely like yourself again. Major props to Curry for battling through this, but you can tell he's still not moving like himself out there. Hopefully, this time off helps him.
