Bron is the biggest empty stat padder in the league right now.

If somebody saves the Lakers by taking Westbrook off their hands I'm going to be furious.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

It's hard to imagine a trade that would work since the Lakers have traded themselves into a hole where they really have nearly nothing of value left to trade. I could see them getting Wall in exchange for Westbrook, THT, Nunn and picks/pick swaps. But that Lakers team won't suddenly be any better.

Lots of talk about a Knicks package around Walker and Fournier.

Dragic was traded to the Spurs and it's rumored that he will be bought out. GS is not listed as being interested but I would like him over Chiozza.

Wouldn’t be over Chiozza. Would have to cut someone else (Lee, JTA most likely).

I could see bringing him in over JTA and then dropping Chiozza for a big on a 2 way.

Doubt he'd go for a 2-way deal.

my bad, I forgot that 2 way deals don't count as a full roster spot.

I think JTA has more value for depth than Lee does. Lee is a better player overall, but JTA is a little "size" and a 2-way doesn't help that at all.

So it it was me I'd drop Lee for Donte ... it's marginal.

Nor can they play in the post-season.

Wow Morey is betting big on Harden regaining his MVP form.

He gave up a couple of FRPs?

Hope KD is happy with Simmons and Part time Kylie, though the way New York State is going, NYC may still lift the vaccine mandates.

I would hate to be the GM that gives Harden his next contract. Nets won this trade IMO.

It's the first round picks that really swing the trade. Also the Nets needed more shooting, which they got in Curry. Also another big (Drummond).

Both teams won IMO.

If Harden can get back to his dominant scoring ways and Embiid stays in MVP form they’re scary. They lost a lot but still have enough.

Simmons next to KD is scary defensively!! KD and Kyrie can do what they want on offense and not have to share the ball with Harden.

Lol the 76ers didn’t win.

Digging yourself a hole then climbing out is a neutral. They bungled the Simmons situation so badly that trading a young star, plus Seth and 2 firsts, for an oft-dealt malcontent star that wants a massive extension seems like a win by comparison

The Nets crushed them.

I think it's funny Sixers fans are looking at this and acting like Morey got what he wanted from the offseason when Morey was asking for a top 25 player, a quality player, and multiple firsts for Simmons. He ended up having to give up 2 decent NBA players and 2 1st round picks for a player who peaked years ago for a wildly different coach and a wildly different scheme. AND he's going to offer Harden $200M this offseason? Ouch.

But, if the Sixers win it all this year then he wins.

Happy for KD!

He got a team that can shoot and defend!

Embiid became the MVP favorite by elevating his usage to nearly peak Harden levels. Then add that Harden's best games have been when he's dominating the ball, and Maxey's too. Add to that that Doc is a really limited coach.

It's going to potentially be bad.

Sacto is cleaning house and bringing in bb IQ players.

Hope they get better. It is certainly a lot better than Monday morning. Hope they are good enough to kick LAL out of play in tourney too.
