Re: Warriors vs Timberwolves - Game 2
I am still a little concerned that Jimmy hasn't embraced his primary scorer role yet. I'm really hoping it's just them not showing their cards, but the fact that he hasn't shown that mode basically all year is making me think it might not be coming.

Why did Jimmy pass out of that transition layup? Disappointed with his lack of aggression today. What happened to the 1-on-1 moves he was working on? Didn't need to go to the gym to work on passing lol.

Can't stand when guys pass up open 3s just to later shoot a lower percentage 3.

That was weird. Ddv guarding the rim and Jimmy passes. Smh

I think the collision with 35 years has continued to impact Jimmys explosion.

Jimmy will still clock 35+minutes so this was a pointless exercise

This was a try out game. Don’t think Kerr was trying to win this game at all costs. Want to make sure Jimmy doesn’t play 40+ in a game Kerr isn’t actually trying to win.
Just making sure to have a ball handler on the court would have done wonders. It's all the fumbles that have caused all the issues. GS got the lead down to 7 and then screw it!
We have 4 ball handlers. Jimmy, dray, podz and Spencer and only dray was in the game.

Looney should be tried in place of TJD.

It's crazy that currently GS is -19 with Butler off the court, he's a +/- 0. That's -19 in 11 minutes.

True also considering the 0-13 start.

Playing Butler and Kuminga together is problematic if neither will cut to the rim when the other attacks the bucket. Neither are good enough standing on the perimeter hunting 3s.
The hottest of takes...

Wolves shooting 50/40 tonight. It's a pointless game when we can not defend. Steve needs to make changes or we will get blown out every night.. where is the No.1 defense in the league?

Perhaps but I prefer the hard data to say they cannot be played rather than speculation.

Kerr's played 14 players, there's no way to get any continuity with that many combinations on the court, it's like Kerr is using this as a preseason game (which he might be doing) but boy do I hate punting any games in the playoffs.

I'm behind live but I just gotta vent. On the Spencer foul play....first Reid fouls GP2 on the rebound by raking his arm, then Reid TOUCHES THE BALL WHILE OUT OF BOUNDS, then HE fouls Spencer by diving under Spencer's legs and TRIPPING him. But yeah, foul on the Warriors. Un***ingbelieveable!

Question, why are ANY of the starters on the court when he's not played them all that much throughout the game? You're not winning the game, you're just risking injuries now.

You probably need to see the chemistry. Kuminga and Butler have not played that much. If Kuminga is going to play a role going forward you need to see how those two play together.
