I’m down for trading down to 10 from 7 for Kyle Andersen. Idk how to make those numbers work
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

Bob...opportunity is knocking! Get on that phone.

Memphis just did a big deal to move up to #10 but there's very few guys specifically they can be assured of getting there. Apparently they are trying to move up more. #10 in this draft is really not much worse than #7 for us. #7 + filler for #10 + Bane. Then flip #14 for #19 + #21.

#10: Wagner/Moody/JJ/Giddey/Bouknight
#19: 2 of Sengun/Murphy/Williams/McBride/Springer/Butler/Garuba
Bane

Hell yeah.

Bledsoe/brooks/#10 for Wiggins/#7 assuming Memphis is high on kuminga/bougknight/Moody. The warriors can pick a stretch forward such as Wagner at #10 and a wing such as daunte at #14

The trade won't be finalized until the new calendar year starts after the draft. So it can be changed to have 3rd and 4th teams.

I think this is close to what a trade would look like: Memphis sends 10/Clarke/GS 2024 1st for your 7. You can swap out the Utah 2022 1st for Clarke if you prefer. That 2 1sts to move 3 spots which I have as an overpay on Memphis' part.

I’d almost certainly do that deal, would be great to get our pick back from Memphis….. because of the protections and uncertainty of timing when it would convey, we effectively can’t trade another first-rounder for 4 or 5 years, which makes it really difficult to make other deals. Plus, Clarke is good, though I’m curious why all of his shooting numbers went down pretty significantly from his first year to his second…….
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Sign and Trade Oubre for Brogdan.
7,14, Wiseman plus fillers for Turner.

2 part Trade.

We get a solid 9 man roster but end up in cap hell. **** it not our money.

Curry/Brogdan
Klay/Poole
Wiggins/ Brogdan
Dray/JTA
Turner/ Looney

Brogdon is much better than Livingston ever was and the Pacers aren't giving him up for free to sign Kelly M***fkin Oubre.

[Wasserman]: "A source says the Knicks have made calls to late-lottery teams about trading up. I'm told the Warriors turned down Nos. 19 and 21 for No. 14."

Not really, White/Murray/Poole/Curry/Klay and no starting 3 is pretty dumb.

Think thats way out of our price range for the 7. My guess is that MEM is willing to let go of some cost-controlled role players and the 10, and thats about it. Which makes sense, we both have team needs that can only exclusively be met by each other:

We're probably the only team in the top 8 that will listen to a MEM offer, meanwhile there probably isnt another team in the top 12 that would be willing to give cheap, cost-controlled, solid rotational players to just move up to 7. So there should be some mutual interest, but we definitely wont be trading down until we're up at 7.

What do you think Klay would be if we get Beal?

I don't think we're getting Beal

Klay at the 3 is a joke. Especially rehab Klay, doesn't make any sense to me.

It's like people forget this team went on a run thanks to length and size. Missing Barnes or KD/Andre/Shaun. And we want to replace these guys with a bunch of guards? No thanks.

Completely agree with you. Not just the size and length but all around size and length of the two way multiple wings plus backup point. As much as getting Beal is tantalizing, I cringe a bit thinking him paired with Curry on D. Oh how I miss Jerry West.

Klay can easily play the 3. He's done it for 21% of his career minutes.

I think the concern that is really being discussed is who is playing the other positions.

If a lineup is like Evan mentioned: Steph / White / Klay / Dray / Poeltl... that is a dominant defensive lineup so i'm not sure where the concern of Klay at the SF spot would be in that scenario.

Can you imagine Klay having to go up against the likes of Giannis or Durant in a Finals series? He'd be eaten alive. If you're going this route, you've got to acknowledge that it'll get you to the playoffs but it won't win you a championship.
