The counting of the ballots is supposed to go on for days, so here's what I got today... Why do we fall for this stuff?

Jrue Holiday make much sense? #2 for Jrue. We use TPE to absorb as much as we can.

Not sure about that but at least we can surmise that one of the contenders that Sham mentions is the Warriors.

We cannot attach salaries with the TPE for a player making above the number. Any deal is going to involve Wiggins. So either Wiggins+2 or Wiggins+Minny pick or Wiggins +2 for Jrue + 13

I prefer a pick swap for Jrue because He will likely be a rental and he is in his 30s without being an allstar so it would pain me giving up a lottery pick for him and not getting anything back

I rather keep wiggins over jrue. Not sure jrue can guard 3 and 4s. ..

If anything I see jrue going to bucks to pair him with gianni's.

#2 for Jrue can't happen due to salaries so wiggins and #2 for Jrue and #13 seems the most reasonable. I think that's too much. Can't play the wing at a top tier level, will probably walk in a year to get one last big contract, and will make it hard to fill out the roster.

I say we nibble around philly and hou and see if we can get one of richardson/covington/tucker. Not for #2, I think they'd all be cheaper (like say our FRP in '21?).

fit seems much better everywhere but GS (not sure if you meant us as contenders, I do). He'd make us ultra small, force klay to guard up a position, and is really expensive (both salary and what we'd have to trade) for a likely 1 year rental. Not a lot of teams w/ room or even the willingness to take on big contracts so that's a plus for the dubs. Not sure if Jrue is the player to gamble on.

I love Jrue in a vacuum. if he goes to either LA team, Bos, MIL, MIA, Den, or even Philly or Dallas, he'll make those teams a level, if not two, better. Not sure he does that for us, especially if we move our only small forward and the #2 pick.

B/R talks about the Warriors trade exceptions and how it can be used effectively like get three players using the Iguodala TPE as they have many holes to fill. Ws lost KD, Iguodala, and Shaun Livingston. This is based on liking and keeping Andrew Wiggins and so far all signs point to positive on that unless there is a major trade.

The best deal to use for the TPE is to package it with the #2 and sweeteners for Giannis. Thus, we are getting rumors of the Warriors making their offer. Then the TPE could be used to help the Bucks rid of Eric Bledsoe. Tossing cold water on this is the news of Bucks owner Marc Lasry meeting over the weekend with Giannis and he promising the team will go into the lux tax to improve the team.

Woj:
“In a three-hour lunch meeting Friday in Milwaukee, Bucks co-owner and governor Marc Lasry made it clear to reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo that the franchise is willing to spend into the luxury tax to deliver him a championship supporting cast, sources told ESPN…

Lasry and Antetokounmpo discussed the Bucks’ season and disappointing finish and brainstormed on some personnel upgrades that could be available to the franchise in the offseason, sources said. They are expected to talk further soon once Antetokounmpo returns from a vacation, sources said.”

If the Ws keep the TPE, then B/R said they'll pick James Wiseman or Deni Avdija.

the best use of anything not named stephen wardell curry would be to get giannis but that's not something that will happen this off-season. Best case is trade deadline if milwaukee falls apart.

josh richardson would be my preference for the TPE. Does seem much better than Oubre for 15-18/yr for a 4 yr deal.

either covington or tucker would be great as well. I think all three could be had for a late 1st.

I doubt the Sixers would trade Richardson for the TPE. Oubre is also an expiring so it could work for the TPE. Likely, he command more in trade. If the Ws use the #2 and TPE for Oubre, the drawback is the Suns pick is at #10 and the guys they want or are willing to accept may be gone. One mock had the Suns getting Okoro, but he'll likely be gone as he's moved up.

As for trading down, the vet they get back in return may be helpful, but probably won't be the guy to add to the SL. The Ws would hope for a higher pick to get Avdija, Obi Toppin, or there were rumors they liked Onyeka Okongwu better than James Wiseman before.

In this scenario, they could get an expiring contract in return for the TPE. It could fit making a deal with the Bulls for Tomas Satoransky as backup PG and also getting their #4 pick. It could fit the Hornets and their #3 or the Hawks and the #6. I haven't heard much about the other teams wanting to move up except for the Knicks and the Celtics.
