You gotta play with him the rest of this year. There’s no point in saying that..............Now, having said all that, I think some Warriors won’t tell Durant that to his face but probably are tired of bending over backwards to make KD feel welcome since he got here and are puzzled why he doesn’t return the love...cough, Steph, cough. On the Warriors postgame radio show the host said there were 3 sources that told him things weren’t right months ago but when he took the info to his bosses they didn’t want him to share it over the air...apparently a lot of local media don’t want to report negative info in fear of getting on the “bad side” of the Warriors organization. Anyways, it sounds like these issues have been building for some time.

Wasn't right in terms of Curry and Durant? Or Warriors organization bending over backwards?

Just that it’s not just Draymond that isn’t head over heels about KD and other players feel like they’ve made an effort to embrace him but he hasn’t really returned the favor....they just have more self-control and maturity than Draymond. They know Durant is likely gone after this year but aren’t gonna erupt like Draymond did the other night and potentially derail this season, create more issues, ect.

Funny this newly posted story tries to dispute that point you just made. Warriors know KD is respected and coveted by them. Just comes down to him truly embracing GS to go for historic rings.

In the world of media today, when I see un-named sources, I can't help but not trust the story anymore.

Its a by product of media agendas that are so prevalent in all walks of life now. It's really sad, because reporting used to be trusted, and now we have a handful of people reporting you can actually trust.

To me it seems like the suspension wasn't so much for what Green said (which if true, was wrong and disrespectful, but normally would be something that is kept in-house), but more because he's jeopardizing the Warrior's ability to negotiate with and re-sign KD.

The suspension is because Green went berserk on KD on things other than the game, the play, right after the loss within the locker room. The line is the game, and he crossed that line.

KD is gone this summer. This seals it. He tried to be a pro, to not discuss it.

The Green suspension is about keeping Durant onboard and engaged for 2018-2019. He has seen what Kawhri and Kyrie did last year to force their way off teams.

tired of this Green guy. Trade his asssssss. He acts like he's the leader of this team and play dirty. Green was a beast only on defense, but now...I hope Warriors ship him out and see what he can do on another team...

He is jealous no other team is courting him to join them..

Someone should tell Green we don't need him at all....Durant/Curry/Thompson/and the other bench players won the championship...NOT him.

Green is cancer to the team....and I hope Warriors remove that cancer so it doesn't spread.

Kevin Durant - no need to get mad at Green for trying to make a play and losing the ball. Even if he passed the ball, there was no guarantee Durant would have made a half-court shot. It shows that KD wants to win!

If I have to pick a player for the future, I'll take Kevin Durant. Without the help of KD, we wouldn't have won the last 2 championship. KD matters! The reason why Green has the highest assist on our team because he's surrounded by play makers who makes shots. Green needs to understand that it wasn't just him, Curry, and Klay that won the championship....without the others, we wouldn't be holding 3 rings in 4 years.

I'm of the opinion, that if we let Barnes walk, and still moved Bogut's contract (and others as well), to create 20 mil in cap space that summer, and we had signed Nic Batum, we would still be the favourites and likely win titles. We could have even signed a guy like Al Horford, or a few years younger Pau Gasol, or used the money to sign 2 x solid guys.

Simply saying, without Durant we don't win, is ridiculous, because he simply isn't removed from the lineup, his service would be replaced by others.

As a Hornets fans, no you wouldn’t. Batum has been injured and regressed every year since he signed that ridiculous contract. Plus he wasn’t going to give up that fifth year.

At that time, playing for the Warriors and playing for the Hornets was a very very different thing. Batum would have had so much more success and way more motivation to be the very best he could be. No offence intended to Charlotte, but the programs and expectations are completely different, there is no hindsight to look at.

Batum wasn't leaving that 120 million dollar deal on the table. Myers alternative was matching that Barnes offer sheet like it or not.

Kawhi basically plays like KD, except he's far inferior to everything KD does offensively.. in some cases by a massive degree. Spurs turned into team ball whenever Kawhi went to the bench the last 2 years before he quit on his team.

I'll take Kawhi on both sides of the floor. Defense is a no brainier, but offense just comes down to style. I prefer ball movement and team basketball.

What a coincidence. They are facing Harrison Barnes today.

Kawhi is the opposite of team and ball movement. He's exactly like KD, pure isos except he's nowhere near as good as KD at it. Even in his last year with Spurs, you could tell the massive difference in team and iso type of basketball whenever he went to the bench.

Green just said what everyone already knew. That narrative that KD made a cowardly move is already out there both with fans and within the NBA (as we saw on the CJ McCollum podcast).

Green just aired it out. Management wanted to pretend like that narrative wasn't out there, but the narrative is out there anyways. You can't control that and KD knew that when he joined the Warriors. It was a move no superstar/franchise player in his prime has ever done before.

It'd literally be like if Malone joined the Bulls. Or if Shaq joined the Rockets the year they lost to them in the Finals. Or if Kobe joined Duncan and the Spurs because he was tired of losing to them. If you do or make a decision that's weird that no one's seen before for a very long time, you can't also expect the negative narrative surrounding the decision to be eliminated. KD is a basketball player, not the dictator in a totalitarian government. Especially since it wasn't as if KD was on terrible teams like Kevin Garnett or Iverson was. Durant had good to great teammates throughout his OKC run. Many players have won Championships with less (Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, Hakeem).

And really, Draymond is right in a sense, if KD leaves he'll have to contend against a Warriors team that won without him. And let's be real here, with KD's personality if he leaves, he's not leaving to be the alpha. It'll be with LeBron.

Dude. Get out of here with that crap. Take it to the general board with all the haters that have spit out the same thing ad nauseam for the last 2 years.
