Yes. S&T of Oubre is fairly unlikely. The best recent move I've heard was Oubre/Paschall to Jazz for Ingles.
Do you think the dynamics change the longer FA drags on? I think the Bulls are looking for defensive wings...a S&T of Oubre for Markkanen would be interesting to me, at least. Oubre may start to realize he's overpriced his services... .

Can't trade for Markannen.
Would be interested to know why, but with Bjelica not sure markkanen should be target anyway.

Patty Mills TPMLE / Iguodala vet min

Curry / Mills / Poole
Klay / Moody / DLee
Wiggins / Porter / Iguodala
Green / JTA / Kuminga
Bjelica / Wiseman / Looney

Looney is starting

I don't see the fit.

If you care about just rebounding there are/were other better options out there.

Rebounding & depth. In 24mpg he avg 11 & 10. We need to get through the regular season and he will get extra possessions for the splash bros.

I’m sure he’ll get the MLE somewhere, but having a guy who can gobble up rebounds and be a big body boxing out is a great option for vet min.

I love his offensive rebounding, but other than that and 6 fouls with size I don't know that he brings much. I prefer him to Love overall but neither one really does much to move the needle. Honestly don't know that I wouldn't prefer Chriss.

Not a huge fan of Mills though, I think Poole is already better. Would be okay with it as an addition but I don't think he's worth more than minimum though. Robin Lopez I don't like too much either. He's tall, but not a good rebounder and cannot shoot. That doesn't have a place on our roster imo.

Poole definitely has higher upside than Mills but I can't say he's currently better. Mills is a steady piece. Poole has just recently become consistent.

I think the belief behind ROLO is we just need a "lumber" body to throw on the bigs for spot minutes. I can't really say who moves the needle more between Chriss(if healthy)/ROLO

By my figuring only 1 more FA signing likely. Probably a guard ... I think I have Neto at the top of my list at the moment.

Markannen would have to be a S&T and that would hard cap the Warriors and they would have to dump a TON of salary to do it.

Or Wiseman again. I didn't want him starting last year, but he did ... Don't know that it's clear he wouldn't start over Looney/Bjelica this year.

Poole has already (slightly) better numbers for last season and that includes a bad start and then a longer absence for the G-league. If he can make another step forward this off-season, he should be the clearly better player than Mills. As I said, Mills is alright, I wouldn't mind him. But I see him as the 3rd wheel, replacing Mannion.

I agree that another big body would be nice, but I'd prefer someone with a clear strength. RoLo is solid across the board but not really good at anything. With which mission do you play him? "Try to not ruin it for 10 minutes"? I would prefer a better rebounder because this is still clearly a weakness of the roster as currently constructed.

If they could get 1 of:
Mills, Monk, Hart, Green (maybe a couple others i'm missing)

Then get a draft pick for Paschall... we'd be set.

Steph / Poole / Nico
Klay / (FA above) / Moody
Wiggins / JTA / Lee
Dray / Otto / Kuminga
Loon / Wiseman / Bjelica

Add Jessup to the mix if Nico will take a 2way.

Wiseman was a large negative on the court last season. Let him earn his starting spot if he's able to this upcoming season.

Looks like GP2 is gone, and we’re currently maxed out at 15 roster spots unless we cut one of Lee or Mulder. We can also trade paschall to free up a roster spot. My vote is to cut Lee because mulder is a better shooter

I'm just confused on people slotting Bjelica at center?

Why? He's played minutes at Center before, he isn't getting younger and he's not a great fit next to our other Centers on defense, but complements our non-shooting 4s (Green, possibly Kuminga) well and works nicely in a five-out offense if we want to run it.

I agree. Like I said I was not for it last year but he did start so he might start again.

As per https://www.cleaningtheglass.com/stats/player/296/positions#tab-team_efficiency

he played 43% of the time at center last year, but he's never really done that before and wasn't his most efficient year. Maybe he can get some minutes there but I don't think he should be starting at C or anything like that

No he really hasn't, that's why it's weird to me. See below

I could see him as the 4 next to Dray @ 5 but he is not a center and shouldn't get a lot of minutes there without Dray on the floor

Curry/Poole/GP2
Klay/Moody/Lee
Wiggins/Kuminga/OPJ
Green/JTA/Paschall
Wiseman/Looney/Bjelica

I don't get why people are saying the roster is out of space. GP2, Lee, Paschall are on the bubble, but there is some room to add.

If Paschall is sent out and a player doesn't come back that's one slot for another big (Chriss?).

If Neto signs then GP2 goes out.

Then it's 14 vs 15 spots used, and if that's a concern then Lee is the next out.

This. Iggy would be fun from a vet stability thing and maybe a few key moments in a playoff run.
But Mills on the Warriors and NOT on Lakers is the key.
