can somebody tell me why Nelly took Barnes out of the game for the last 4-5 minutes and only put him back in for the last play of the game?

was it so he could have Baron playing SF instead. :banghead:
dumba$$ move. absolutely rediculous.
freakin genius pulls an actually SF who also happens to be the best player on the floor at that moment, so he can push Baron over to SF, Monta at SG, and keep a freakin D-League newby at PG.
WHAT? uh HELLO. Barnes is hot tonight AND a SF. sounds like an obvious decision to have in the game, but NO, not with Nelly.
aaarrrggg!!! :curse:

then of course, when the Warriors start getting abused at the SF position (DUH!) he decides he'll push Baron over to PF to make up for it. :banghead: :banghead:

i'm seriously growing tired of Nelsons non-sense rotations and can't understand what he's doing. i like him for a lot of things, but i sure can't stand a bunch of things too.

anyways i don't want to take anything away from Minny. they played well and it's a good win for them.

With who? Foye's a talent... so is Al Jeff (though he still has a lot to learn defensively) then who? Brewer has not played anything past good defense, and he's a liability offensively... Gomes is a solid player without a position, he'll take a team like ours down though...

Other than that, where's the great future? With McFail in charge, a lot will depend on where that pick gets invested for 2008...

Portland has a great future...

You'll be whistling a different tune when Beasley is a wolf next year.

I 2nd all of your emoticons. The fact that he didn't play makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. And the fact that S-Jack played so much is also a mystery. The moment he realizes that Jackson is not on fire and not playing good D he should have been sent to the locker rooms to heal up.

I think the similarities here demonstrates there are only a few styles of team that MIN has any chance with.

Man, he was 2 rebounds shy of a triple-double on ya! You'd think dating Adrinna Lima would at least get him a little respect! ;)

You nailed it. Its confusing being a Wolves fans. Every night, just after a loss, I'm frustrated, but I wake up the next morning, read the standings, and I'm happy as a clam. Today's game will be the inverse -- tomorrow I'll be wishing we were on the wrong side. I suppose occasional wins keep the youngins from successful college programs from having their souls completely crushed this year.

Oh - and to my gsw friends from the trade board, back me up when people call me a homer when I say "some team out there would give a late first for cheap, productive Ryan Gomes."

 @ Barkley saying the Warriors won't make the playoffs because they lost to Sota.

More POB was exactly what we needed

This was one of those games that we lost at the FT line.

Those kinds of losses have been fewer this year, but if we hit a respectable percentage we win. (Bad Baron)

Let's be honest, that ball almost went in.

How many games does Gomes play that well? Lately pretty good, but if we hit the FT's we win.

I figure we got 3 more months of Nellie..Then 3 years of Keith Dumb...So in 39 months, who should we get to coach? I say Sam I Am, The Glove Eric Snow or Austin Croshere.

Rebounding was 45 to 46. I guess you could say we were outrebounded by two if you don't count Al's missed putback on the last play.

We lost this game because our two best players had crappy nights.

That's true..but I just watched the second half and they were pounding us down low on the post and we were defending them with Steven Jackson and Baron!!???

Anyway...I'm already over the loss....and realize it's just one of those games....NEXT!

How about Russell Turner? He's more than qualified..He happened to be at Wake Forest when Duncan was there..I give him all the credit for Duncan's NBA career.

This game was pretty much the epitome of us playing down to another team's level, and Nellie's growing ineptitude and stubbornness.

We're gonna get crushed if we bring this same game against NJ.

Over the last 15 months, Nellie continues to use MP in every game possible...No matter how bad Trainwreck perfoms, Nellie plays him in the next game..

Today if MP was a DNP-CD ? Warriors win

Next year... blah blah blah... you sound like a Celtics 06 fans... "wait til we get Oden"... good thing Ainge ran into McFail

And no, I won't... I'll say the same thing about 75% of your roster, I do hold out hope that Al will flip on a switch at some point. I dont know too much about Foye though...

Even then, a lot still needs to go right... puff out your chests MIN fans, you won :D The reasonable MIN fan has been outnumbered
