I bet he really enjoyed last night, I bet Dantoni (one of the likely coaches who voted against him) as he continues on his "revenge"" run.

You think Mike D didn't vote for BD? I'd think he would just because of how much Baron kills the Suns.

I think it's a travesty that Baron is not in the AS game

Yeah, I guess so. While he was "pouting" Monta emerged as the team's best player. Paid off for Monta and the Warriors. lol.

I believe I've heard that D'Antoni dislikes him very much. Baron, the egotistical, selfish, braggart, gangsta is the antithesis of Nash, the humble, low-key team player apple-pie eating all-amercan (although he's Canadian) boy. I don't think he's particularly enjoyed seeing both Baron and Monta have their way with Nash during their meetings.

I don't think it'll go down in time for that.

kobe with the torn ligament in his shooting hand pinky.

its a win win. even if kobe is foolish enough to play at the all star game, thats good for the dubs. if not, Baron should take it and maybe get him playing right.

At thist point totell you the trueth, I'd rather see Jack get in (may never get another opportunity) even though I think Baron is more deserving but since he didn't get voted in, I'd rather not see him get in. It would be nice to see Jack get some run and have Baron stay home and rest. At tleast we'd be able to se a Warrior in the game which would be fitting seeing how decent a first half we've had.

If Stephen Jackson gets voted in I bet the casual NBA fans would be outraged, they don't know how important Jackson really is to his team. They all see him as that "thug who always gets technicals and was involved in fighting with fans at the Palace".

Hey, why not add a little fire to that game in addition to all the usual BS?

I could see Jack draining a few 3s while everyone's standing around watching.

F it, they should just give Monta the spot. He is super hot right now, exciting and staying in Mississippi. Man, he could be in New Orleans in a blink of an eye.

the League is trying to force Kobe to go and are not looking for replacements. :nonono:

Lakers trying to convince NBA to let Kobe skip All-Star Game

By Marc Stein
ESPN.com

The Los Angeles Lakers are hoping that Kobe Bryant gets clearance from the league to miss Sunday's All-Star Game in New Orleans after announcing Thursday that Bryant has a torn ligament in his right pinkie.

But Bryant doesn't yet have that clearance -- and may not get it.

A league official confirmed Thursday night that the NBA is not looking for potential replacements to fill Bryant's spot on the Western Conference squad. That's because the league office still expects Bryant to start and play for the West, even if it's only for a brief cameo, after he played for the Lakers all the way through to their final game before the All-Star break Wednesday in Minnesota.

Bryant scored 29 points in 35 minutes in Wednesday's 117-92 win at Minnesota. Bryant sat out the fourth quarter and had the finger X-rayed after the game.

The Lakers, according to team sources, are trying to convince the league that Bryant should be excused after a visit Thursday to hand specialist Dr. Steven Shin revealed a ligament tear. Bryant is expected to make that plea personally once he arrives in New Orleans on Friday after Shin recommend that Bryant undergo surgery that would likely sideline him for six weeks.
