This is just so short sighted. We give up our future for what? Even if we got JO, there's absolutely no guarantees (particularly with his health issues, he's only played in 33 games so far this year) that we even get in. Is JO better than Yao? Better than Camby? Better than Shaq and Amare? Better than Boozer and Okur? Better than Chandler and West? Or how about Duncan. The answer is no to all of the above. That plus the fact that he's one injury away from being done for the season. Yeah, let's take his over 50 Mil in salary due for the next 2 1/2 years for Indiana. Might as well return the favor. And you can bet it either Beans or Wright who's going back to Indy and I believe it will be Beans (based on the way he's now being used by Nellie) as I think that Mullin has gotten Nellie's commitment to keep Wright as Nellie is pushing him to compromise between the two.
No way we get throught that group of big men and anyone of you who thinks that O'Neal can compete with any of those is definitely high on the Nellie cool aid. Wake up guys. It's bad enough what he has done with POB, but it pales in comparison to what we'll regret if we bring over O'Neal and lose Beans as a result of it. The handwriting is on the wall as to what Nellie's planning to do here. Make us look like we need a trade by tanking with his bad substitutions, keeping out his best big man by playing him 12-20 minutes a game so that he cannot produce the way he's capable of and using inept players instead (such as Webber and Croshere) to prove his point.

Oh the ironing... sorry son, I backup everything I say... your whining because I wont find the quotes where Nellie talked about Yi or something... Do your own homework.
Everything I say has a base... its sad too, everyone hates what I say until it comes true...
I love how we're throwing out the Monty argument now... now that we're comparing him with Nellie with the same roster... "That doesn't matter"...
do my own homework?
showing evidence of all the things you're saying is my homework?

how are you backing up everything you say? by just saying it?
you qoute ... "that doesn't matter," who said that?
yes the ironing is quite hilarious, your bball iq must be so high there aren't enough neurons for the regular IQ.

Wow... how lost are you?
Defensively... the reason it was brought up again was because Biedrins mentioned you had to play defense to get on the court if you weren't Tay/Jax/Baron...
Whats the point of going to the offensive low block for us... think you'll ever get an entry pass? Seriously man... I'm not here to do your homework... use your head.
btw, did you not go back and read that you wrote wright was holding people out of the post that were 40-50 lbs heavier than him, when he was 15lbs lighter?
or just saying I'm lost is the best way to avoid accountability?

POB AND a 08 First.
I really like Wright, and think he's perfect for this team. I hate to give that up. Brand is a beast, i know, but he's also getting paid like a beast.
How can we afford a big time guy like JO and Brand with Beans and Ellis and Baron?

The Clippers aren't trading Kaman to us.
The only reason they'd try to deal Brand is if they feel he won't resign.
JO to the Warriors makes zero sense from a money standpoint.
Juan Dixon and Joey Graham for Pietrus.....please.
None of these rumors make any sense.
We have to keep our position to sign Monta and Beans. so please figure that into your so-called deals.
Also it'd be stupid to trade Beans at his current salary. you don't get back equal value.
If we ever were gonna trade him (which I doubt), then you'd only be getting back around 3 million dollars worth of talent. Unless that was for someone like josh smith it makes no sense.
If you sign Beans and Monta and then decide to trade them down the road then you have enough salary that you'll get a quality player back.
Having said all of that you must now look at who you could possibly get that won't affect the off-season signings.
Artest
Kurt Thomas
are 2 that come to mind who would help and also come off the books.
Each one of those guys would fit with the trade exception.
Each one of those guys comes off the books for next year.
Or if by luck ron was to work out big time, then we'd be in a position to possibly resign him (not likely).
Fitz and Brooks were talking about Chris Wilcox as the guy to target. But what they're not realizing is that he still has multiple years on his deal. He would potentially cost us Beans or Monta (because of the cap). No thanks.
Keeping Ron Artest out of the Nuggets hands would be as big as the defense he'd provide us.
Kurt Thomas is more low key, but he's a perfect fit. His rebounding is good. Nice mid-range jumper. He can guard bigs. He wouldn't demand to start.
I know Seattle has alot of young guys so a #1 isn't quite as big a deal to them, but with some of those contracts they have, losing Kurts expiring is very valuable to them. Our trade Exception is a decent option along with a draft pick.
As for Pietrus. I don't want to take on 2 players for him. One for one or maybe a pick. A second and cash would be nice.

With Thomas last year the Suns had the Spurs by the balls and might have gone on to win that series.
If not for the suspensions because of the Robert Horry debacle, the Thomas Suns would have won that thing and gone on to beat the Cavs.

Deal done. Barry + Elson + San Antonio #1 for KT. Seems like a lot to me but maybe they think they need that extra beef and experience to compete with Shaq and the Lakes.

Every point I made has had reasoning behind it...
You are angry with me because I dont want to scour the Yi files for Nellie's quotes on him... if you dont remember them, look them up yourself... you are the only one who seems to not believe that Nellie was fired up about Yi.
Trueth you are becoming more and more like the rest of the clowns... you forget what the basis of the post is about midway through the argument and argue a mundane detail... *yawwwwwwwn*
Hester, I'm glad you FINALLY got the irony of someone saying "Oh the ironing".
Holding people out of the post... now lets look at that with half a brain trueth (might need to find someone to guide you through this one)... now do you hold people out of the post offensively, or do you hold them out of the post defensively?
Obviously was talking about defense... there is no low post offense in this gimmicky team.
Sorry you got confused - try and remember the focus of the conversation next time
