There are only 3-4 centers in the league better than a healthy Bogut. Unless we somehow package Bogut with someone else to upgrade, I don't see much point in moving him.

The problem is Bogut's health. I would rather have a lower tier 5 or two, than a guy you can't count on. If we could have a semi healthy Bogut come playoff time, I may change my tune. I don't think it is possible to trade him if he continues with his health issues.

With Barnes and Iggy... one factor is Barnes is 1/4 the $..and 10 yr younger..with upside. Iggy's numbers all are declining every year. That said... it may already be to where Iggy has negative trade value...it could cost to just flip him for expiring junk.

Bogut... is gonna be a gamble going forward. This year...next year... he may play a lot be great...may go injured again. Roll the dice? Good thing we got Mo....and Festus. For us to swap Bogut for a real good C... Bogut has to get healthy..play great..for awhile. If that happened ...nobody would want to trade him..till next time he's injured.

Pretty much...GSW is rolling and perhaps makes changes somewhat latwe.

Kerr sets the scene: “Against Houston I got upset. At the end of the half he turned it over with 1.8 seconds, they called a 20 to set up a play. And I was so upset. 'Just get the ball in!' He's like, 'They didn't get open! F--- you!' Andre [Iguodala] holds him back, soon as the buzzer sounds he's all, 'My bad, coach!' And I'm like, 'That's why I love you, Draymond!'"

Lol.

Some good stuff about Green and Kerr as well as Green and his leadership.

Dray is intense... that's who he is and why we love the Bear. That tale says a lot about both Dray and Kerr and why GSW is winning.

Warrior legend Manute Bol...was the source of the phrase " My Bad" ......interesting to hear it now part of the language.

Talking is always easier after a great game and a win, but this interview sums up Dray's attitude pretty well imo.

He's playing like an All Star to be honest.

He's playing like an All-Star and a DPOY

seriously, $10 mil for him is a STEAL

he's has such a rare combination at the PF position. the closest to him is Lebron playing the 4 to be honest. there aren't power forwards that could be elite defenders, guard all 5 positions, stretch the floor, find the open man etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Is there like a point where we cant match his salary? Or can we pretty much match everything?

He's a restricted free agent, they can match any offer he gets.

To me, the only question remaining on Dray is can he withstand the rigors of an entire season, particularly thw way he plays (one of the comments I made early on with him playing the 4). It's so important for him to be able to hit his 3s fairly consistently (as well as for the Splash bros and the team as a whole) as this will help to keep him out of the paint and having to bang so often. So far, so good.

Has Draymond even missed a game? He must have, but I don't recall it. He is one tough hombre.

Not sure about last year, but I seem to remember rookie year he had some knee tendinitis. Think he missed a couple games. Also helped him to rework his body to play more wing than he did in college where he spent most of his time in the paint. So his body remake has really helped his knees. Leaner and meaner.

Lebron's an anomoly, but I think Green would play the 4 better than LBJ long term anyway.

If you take Lebron out of it, I doubt there is another player that is as diverse as Green in the NBA. There are plenty that can play 1/2/3 and then maybe some 4 in very small ball lineups, but none an do the big + wing thing like Draymond. He's sort of a Point Shooting Power Forward?

I'd say Kawhi Leonard is similar in diversity and better overall, but the list is short, like you said.

I must admit though, I haven't watched the Spurs play for quite a while now. I didn't even watch 1 game of the NBA finals.

I think Kawhi has a 7' 3" wingspan and is strong.....not something he has to do much of, but I'd bet he can. I pick Kawhi because of his handles and better shooter. It's nice company to be in though

Don't think Kahwi can play Center (we know Green can in spurts, lol). Not sure if Kahwi can handle the point although he has decent handles (has he ever had 13 assists in a game)? In one of the Dray interviews posted, Dray says he can handle pretty well and is accustomed to doing so. Dray do it all. :D

I also think Dray may be stronger than Kahwi (who's also strong, just not as strong as Dray is imo).
