If no Morris and Bradley Jabari parker can play some 3 too. We would have some athleticism scoring and rebounding at least. And teams with 3d guys would have to pay attention to him.

Morris is going to command more than a minimum contract.

Let's call Shlenk in Atlanta.

Taurean Prince for Jones and something.

The Hawks are heavy on shooting guards, small forwards, and power forwards. They only have Jaxson Hayes as a true center. They could use Jones's size, and he's a runner like most of the rest of their squad is.

Prince is a 3 and d guy who fits the mold for us. Not as big as I want, but he'll do.

Prince makes 3.4 mil and has a qo of 4.7 next season.

Let's go Bobby, get-er done.

I think Prince is on Brooklyn now.

Prince was traded to the Nets for Crabbe and Jaxson Hayes was drafted by the Pelicans.

looks like JaMychal Green has played PF for his career but maybe he can play some SF? I like his shooting numbers but don't think he helps us much on D. RHJ might be a fit at SF but his 3pt% is beyond bad. We are going to need a defensive 3 on this roster before the season starts.

We need a SF starter.

You're right, however, the trade was proposed on June 6th and couldn't be completed until TODAY.

So it makes me wonder that he might be a part of
a bigger deal with DLo.

I'm mostly dreaming, but I'm getting a strong feeling that something else is about to happen.

My guess is, next July, when Prince is RFA, they won't keep him, unless they've already traded him during the season.

Levert becomes RFA and Joe Harris becomes UFA.

They have rich ownership but lets see if they want to pay luxury taxes. Unless they win over 50 games and contend for a top 4 seed this year without KD, I don't think they will have a lot of enthusiasm about keeping all their guys.

They should keep Levert but he needs the ball and so does Kyrie. And so does Dinwiddie to a lesser extent. Then when KD comes back, how much touches is Levert going to get?

We need a SF starter.

I don't think that is feasible in the short term given the hard cap; I suspect Kerr will go with a GR3/McKinnie tandem depending on who is hot and match-ups. I think Klay is the SF starter when he returns with DLo as the on-ball PG and Steph playing a lot of off-ball in the backcourt.

I know it's not feasible due to the hard cap, but mckinnie and GR3 are the only SF in the roster at the moment :banghead:
mckinnie can be a decent player from the bench like GR3 but not the starter. I mean, how much improved can he possibly be after 1 offseason?! he was neither our backup SF last year, he was the third option after KD and iggy....
myers needs to find a way to add a wing, it's unthinkable to face next season with the current SF assortment.

There isn't much to expect for the minimum. Even Stanley Johnson is off the market now.
Maybe Sefolosha is the best possible option. I doubt Vince Carter would join us.
Other players I can think of are Justin Anderson, Wayne Selden, David Nwaba and Troy Williams. Maybe Hollis-Jefferson?

I think Sefolosha is likely our best option for that 14th spot. If we can get 20+ minutes/game from him until Klay returns, then we only need about 12 minutes each from McKinnie and GR3, which seems reasonable. May have to run with Paschall at the 3 for short spurts as well, depending on match-ups. If Lee comes back on a 2-way, he is also 6-6; even though he's been a guard he has the size to fill in at the 3. It will have to be a committee approach until Klay is back - there's just no way around it. But I really believe the team believes GR3 has the ability to earn the starting job; I can't imagine why else they would have given him a 2-year contract instead of a minimum unless they have bigger plans for him. If they believe last year's awful 29% from 3 was a small sample size aberration, he averaged 39% over the 3-year period before that. My guess is their analytic gurus/scouts see something in him that us casual fans do not.

I know Jabari Parker's defense has been question. But seems like he played better when he got traded to the Wiz. FG% went up, reb, asst, stl, blks went up. He could play the 3 or 4 positon and can space the floor with midrange and 3 pt shooting. Also another guy who can reb and play pick and rock/pop with our guards. Wouldn't be a bad signing if he agrees to sign for the vet min but he gets to start at the 3? One of PG13 or Kawhi would have to guard him when we play them. Orelse they can put PG13 and Kawhi on Dlo and Curry and shut them down.

I like RHJ..but RHJ+Draymond on the same frontcourt=digusting on offense. I would like the defensive intensity though.

Mbah a Moute would be a nice veteran to add to the team..good 2 way player. also can play 3/4 and can stretch the floor.

I would take Thabo over Mbah. Not counting this past season when a Moute only played 4 games, I'm looking at his 2018 vs. Thabo's 2019. Per 100 possessions, Thabo outrebounds him and gets more assists and steals. His DBPM is even better, which surprised me. I also have more confidence in Sefolosha's 3-point shot.

count me in...IMO we need a player who can put up 15ppg cuz i doubt we gonna get that from draymond/wcs. That's why i'm ok with getting Jabari Parker. He can put up some points.

I'd be happy if we add avery bradley and thabo sefolosha fore defensive purposes. hpoefully we can sign bradley, thabo, and parker for vet min hehe.

Don't we only have one vet minimum spot left? If so, I'd stick with Thabo. I think the hole we have at SF is more critical than PG or PF. If Steph and DLo stagger their minutes with Evans picking up whatever scattered minutes/garbage time is left and Bowman on a 2-way, I think we are set for PG. Draymond obviously covers the bulk of PF minutes and we have Paschall and Smiley to back him up, plus Looney can play there in a pinch.
