What do you guys think about Dante Cunningham? Big sf who can play at pf as well. Started a couple games for the Spurs last year. Isn't bad at the 3 ball either. Seemed solid.

Per 100 possessions, Thabo outrebounds him and gets more assists and steals. His DBPM is even better, which surprised me. I also have more confidence in Sefolosha's 3-point shot.
count me in...IMO we need a player who can put up 15ppg cuz i doubt we gonna get that from draymond/wcs. That's why i'm ok with getting Jabari Parker. He can put up some points.
I'd be happy if we add avery bradley and thabo sefolosha fore defensive purposes. hpoefully we can sign bradley, thabo, and parker for vet min hehe.
Don't we only have one vet minimum spot left? If so, I'd stick with Thabo. I think the hole we have at SF is more critical than PG or PF. If Steph and DLo stagger their minutes with Evans picking up whatever scattered minutes/garbage time is left and Bowman on a 2-way, I think we are set for PG. Draymond obviously covers the bulk of PF minutes and we have Paschall and Smiley to back him up, plus Looney can play there in a pinch.
Do we still have the MLE?
If we renounce shaun livinstong, then we can probly sign Jabari Parker and add a bradley/thabo with the vet min.

Seem like we're in the hunt for Parker. Parker can play the SF spot and we would have more offense in the lineup. Curry and Dlo will provide the bulk of the offense. But Parker is a very talented scorer who can take the pressure off them on nights where they're struggling to hit shots.

We're hard capped. We can't spend it.

wouldn't mind having him hold down the fort until klay comes back.

Nets announce they've signed DeAndre Jordan. One step closer to the KD/DLo deal.
Not sure how much more cap space the Nets have to work with. I also don't know when the Iguodala trade will be completed, if it hasn't already.

We can from what some members were saying.
I read that part of the MLE is supposed to be used on WCS.

Re: Official offseason, summer of 2019
but avery bradley and sefolosha are still standing or are they both washed-up?
'cuz if you pick them up mainly for their defensive skills, they must be in good physical shape and able to play hard for good stretches, at least till klay is back. otherwise, there's no point to sign them (assuming they're up for grab for the vet minimum).
better jabari parker then. he may be a defensive liability, but he's big, can play both the SF and PF position (so he can play in a new version of the death lineup with dray as C), can provide scoring, and seems physically fit (which is important. we already have klay out till 2020, we need bodies that can play consistently without any load management).

Which members? Please go back and tell them they're wrong given the Warriors current roster. No more than the vet minimum for the 14th roster spot and no one for the 15th roster spot.

Re: Official offseason, summer of 2019
I am curious about the offer to WCS. They said it was a bit above his paid vet minimum of $1,737,145. But it appears the Warriors are only $13K below the apron with him right at his vet minimum. Seems like a marginal amount to make much of a difference.
If WCS is getting paid above his vet minimum and GR3 has a player option in the 2nd year, then the Warriors have at least one move to make to get under the hard cap. They would have to do that soon because once DLo has been acquired, at no point during the season can they exceed the hard cap.

I'm curious about all this stuff. I've read different posts / tweets about the Warriors cap situation but haven't seen something where it actually shows everyone's 19/20 salary.
How much are Klay and Russell's first year salaries?

They can always trade Jones or Evans. It could happen. It would open up a spot potentially, but would have to add an asset for another team to work with you.

I just want our young guys to get a ton of playing time this year, if it’s not now then when? This is the time to see who they are and get them real NBA experience. I hope Kerr doesn’t bury them behind vets. Blending them in with the vets/starters would be ideal, rather than bringing them all in as a garbage time crew where they probably won’t learn much. Let’s see who can be legitimately useful next year when we’ll hopefully be back in the title chase (yeah, I know they think they are this year, but they’re probably not).

Well with only 4 guys over 25 (and one of those 4 being out at least half the season), we're gonna see the young guys play whether we want to or not.

We traded up on purpose, let's find out early what Poole, Paschall & Smailagic need to work on at Santa Cruz to contribute.

RHJ signed with Raps for probably a minimum deal. Wtf are we doing? We have a glaring hole at small forward.

Maybe looking for someone who can shoot the 3 better? RHJ can’t very well, he’s 3 and D without the 3. Also if it was a dime over the minimum it’s probably too rich for us.

Re: Official offseason, summer of 2019
Can the Knicks do a Sign and trade for Bobby Portis for Draymond Green? Their contract about the same. Warriors get a younger, cheaper, stretch 4. Knicks will get Draymond's cap space once his contract comes off the books after nxt yr. And Warriors avoid offering him a max contract. It didn't make sense for Knicks to sign 2 starting power fowards in Randle and Portis. Maybe they're willing to move 1 of them?

Portis already signed with the Knicks so he can't be traded until Dec 15.
Return to Golden State Warriors
