Kerr, make sure to throw the 2 games against Minny coming soon. More Oubre and Green lineup please.

May I ask why? The chances we get the pick anyways are 60% if their lottery ranking is either 1, 2, or 3. In this case I'd rather they get the worst record so that if we get the pick, it is guaranteed to be either 4 or 5.

Didn't your mom ever tell you to never be too greedy? :)

My mom told me to always gamble when the odds were in my favor. 60/40? I love it. The lower they finish, the better.

Those odds are still not good if you are bungie jumping and sky diving. :D

I know. Seems like are getting worse on the L Train even without playing. Now they played today, tied for worst team.

Ant Man had 5 boards today, which kind of blows me away..I think that’s more than he had his entire career at Georgia.

What are the odds of the ball falling in your lap 5 times in one game?

How much harder does the Wolves schedule become in the second half of their season? Seems like they've had a cake walk so far despite the Ls.

I want Jalen Green on the Warriors so badly, I just don't see how he drops enough. In fact, when this year is all said and done I have a feeling he goes number 1 (although Mobley is beasting right now too).

Tell Kerr to try harder? Maybe start Looney as the new triple threat in the starting lineup?

Cade is going #1 for sure

after which any combo of Suggs/Mobley/Green/Kuminga

hoping we get #4 and Mobley is there, if not then Suggs...wouldn't be mad about Green/Kuminga either obviously but just feel like Mobley/Suggs are better fits overall moving forward.

that said...all of this is moot if Minny is **** and gets a pick 1-3.

Here are the Wolves opponents I have for the second half, barring further postponements.

Home: DEN, DAL 2, GSW, HOU 2, MEM (makeup), NOP, OKC, POR 2, SAC, UTAH, BOS, BKN, CHI, MIA, MIL, NYK

Away: HOU, LAC, LAL, MEM, NOP, PHX 2, SAC 2, UTAH, BOS, BKN, DET, IND, MIA, ORL, PHI

A few winnable ones in the Kings, Pelicans, Rockets, Bulls, Pistons, but in the grand scheme...not good.

Even then, I wouldn't be worried about getting a much lower pick in 2022 unless the Wolves get Cade.

2021 draft 4-5 holes look like the sweet spots for San Francisco...

But I’d rather take my chances in 22 with an unprotected Minneapolis #1

sorry but this is ridiculous

1. you have no clue what top of next year's class looks like...looks like Bates isn't gonna be in, who knows what international Wembanyama will do....who do you want next year instead of guys like Cade/Suggs/Mobley/Green? Chet? Hardy? no thanks.

2. why would you take your chances with next year's Minny team? why would they be worse next year? they'd have a top 3 pick to add to that roster...if they add Cade it's a done deal. and Edwards will be entering his 2nd year, Culver his 3rd, Okogie his 4th, Towns will likely be much healthier, etc. odds are Minny's team next year is actually better.

3. you waste another year of Steph/Klay primes...getting a young stud in 21 will overlap that extra year with Steph/Klay.

I want Mobley. I’d trade the minny pick and wiseman for Mobley right now to usc

Yup.

Way...... way too much likelihood that the Wolves will be much better in ‘21-‘22 than they are this year, if they add a top pick in ‘21, more experience from Edwards and the rest of that young core, and likely much better health/availability of KAT. I’m not suggesting that suddenly they become a good playoff team, but they probably improve from being a bottom-5 team this year to being a 10th worst (or so) team in ‘21-‘22. And while getting the #10 pick in ‘22 with a minute chance of getting lucky and moving up to #1-4 seems okay, it pales in comparison to a much higher likelihood of getting #4-6 in ‘21.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

that was a ridiculous take, just own it.

why the hell would you not want the Minny pick to convert this year in the 4-6 range? makes 0 sense.

Yep. The best case scenario for us is the Wolves finish last and we get 60% probability for the 4-5th spot. But I am fine with any one of the worst 4 records (which looks like more than likely at this point).

#4 Jalen Green
#20 Scottie Lewis

I'm going to speak this into existence since it would require 3 incredible things happening:
1- Wolves get the 4th pick
2- We made the playoffs
3- Green and Lewis drop to our picks

I'm all in on 3 years of drafting turning into a future lineup of Mannion, Green, Lewis, Paschall, Wiseman (we will pretend Poole never happened).

Return to Golden State Warriors
