How are the Warriors bigger favorites over the Rockets than the Lakers over the Wolves???

Because who do you trust on that rockets team to score?

Idk but I trust them more than I trust the Warriors "others" at this point... and Steph is going to have a bad time with the Amen Thompson experience again if his thumb is still bothering him.

I still think the Warriors pull it off but I think it's crazy to make them 2:1 favorites to win the series.

I don't think you realize how difficult our schedule was down the stretch. 14 day road trip ending in a 3 day in 4 nights against Grizzlies (away), Lakers (away), Nuggets (home). 1 day off then Rockets. Then another back to back away and home then away and home on 1 day rest. That is a tough schedule with no real rest just from a traveling standpoint. That's 8 games in 13 nights basically traveling for each game, 9 games in 15 nights including the play in. The team is exhausted.

Like that game against houston we were exhausted. Steph had no energy to break away from amen on a 3rd game in 4 nights after 14 day road trip.

Now that we get 4 days off I think we dispose of the Rockets in 5 maybe even in a sweep.

I really thought he was going to get playing time against the Grizz. A lot of matchups for JK to get down hill against Pippen/Ja/Kennard.

One game and 7 game series are different thing. Kerr will has more room to operate with Kuminga inappropriateness

everything you want, but if someone thinks that night curry scored 3 points just because amen thompson' D is not in his right mind. it was manly one of those nights that simply is not your night. like in MEM few months before. and last time I checked, amen thompson wasn't wearing a grizzlies uniform then....
anyway, with curry scoring only 3 points (and the team shooting bad), dubs lost by 10. I mean...

I think the issue is that JK doesn't play well with Jimmy. Jimmy is going to play like 40 minutes a night. That would leave JK with 8 minutes to play. JK doesn't play well in short stints. He doesn't play with effort or energy when he's not involved and knows he's not going to get a lot of minutes. So if that's the case Kerr can't play him for the 8 minutes and maybe that's why he's just completely out of the rotation.

I guess we'll see but he's played well against the Rockets and the Lakers so hopefully he doesn't take himself out mentally.

Something to keep in mind is that Steph is very petty. I'm sure him getting humiliated by scoring only 3, and then Ime talking **** in the game and after might not bode too well for the Rockets.

They're a well coached, energetic young team that the league allows to be as aggro as possible to bring some hype into the younger teams (I would do the same if I was Silver), but they're not technically as gifted defensively as a locked in OKC or Warriors IMO. We'll see how it goes.

Kerr's rotations lost a 20 point lead without Kuminga on the floor, which seemed to result from (i) Poj inability to take/hit a shot or play defense; (ii) Hield inability to take a shot/hit or play defense; (iii) draymond inability to hit his shots. Given the "fatigue" factor, I think it is absurd to argue that JK couldn't have eaten up some minutes. He could have played just as bad defense as Hield, Poj, and been just as ineffective as Green, Poj and Hield on offense.

It will be interesting to see what difference rim protection (and lack thereof) makes.

You guys hate me when I point this out....but....

Curry looked very tight to start the game. Thank god for Jimmy, Post, Payton to keep us rolling initially.

Giving Curry credit for pushing through and hitting big shots down the stretch.

Happy we lost to Clippers...wanted Houston all along. Go Warriors!!!

The announcers said Warriors have the League's #1 defense since acquiring Jimmy Butler.

Four incorrect calls, including Podz's block.

It was bad because it was so blatant, but 2001 Kings/Lakers still wins this dubious distinction.

That's a lot of bad calls for two very important minutes.

I thought one of most obvious was the basket interference on Edey. I called that to the people I was watching with.
