I really would seriously look at letting jk walk just so we can sign Adams to the full mle.

Adams/Green/Butler… uh ah…. where did I see that similar front court?

I’m taking one of green or butler out. But where are you seeing a similar front court?

Rockets were never a fake 2 seed. Its the Lakers that were a fake 3 seed.

Tari and bari hitting 4 3s in this game while buddy, post, podz and moody missing a ton of 3s was likely the difference in this game.

rockets have 5 players shooting better than 40% on threes. We are never going to outscore them.

I hope so. Because him not being guarded on offense has been killing us.

Yup Adams is the player we have no answer for. And he just gets to sit in the paint and be a rim protector not guarding anyone while being a menace on the offensive board meaning we get no rim protection because we’re so worried about him on the boards.

I would seriously look into playing looney, dray, jimmy and hope we just play lock down defense and say **** offense.

Live and die by the three. So far Rockets are living and we are the exact opposite. Hope and pray for a good shooting night in Game 7 or we'll join Lebron to cancun.

FVV has shot 67% (!!!) from 3 over the past 3 games, on heavy volume. Steph rarely even has 3-game stretches THAT hot. Just gotta hope that's not sustainable lol.

The rockets as a team have been hot hot hot from 3 it seems like.

That's what's frustrating. Vanvleet shot the three ball exceptionally well against us then watch as he comes back to earth against the Wolves if ever they get there.

we have hield/gp2 defending him. Too small and he just shoot over them like nothing. Steve Kerr is not serious about this lineup we played tonight

I have to say I did not expect this.
they have been unable to get it going offensively all series long, even in the games they won they never got it going really. one reason is they completely abandoned the midrange. I don't see how this is going to change in game 7 unless they shoot the lights out for a change. anyway, a team losing 2 games like these it's not a contender. even if they pass this round they are going nowhere. they are not that good.

This.

Santos can get rebounds, he can make hustle plays, and he can make a 3. Looney in 2 minutes had more rebounds than Post in 17. Making a washed-up Adams look like an all-star is something that reflects directly on this FO for not making another trade at the deadline.

We have a guy sitting on the bench that many teams have wanted in trade. Instead, he sits here, contributes nothing, and could possibly leave in the off-season for nothing.

F everyone else. The Mid All Stars. Seriously. Trade 'em all in the offseason. I'm not sold on anyone else. THIS IS YOUR CHANCE. And you're on the verge of blowing a 3-1 lead again.

LOW CEILING PLAYERS

Ironically enough the one with highest ceiling - Kuminga - got zero minutes

Trade for tested and proven players in the offseason.

With Green at C you will run into the same situation evey year. Post is very far from PS rotation player.

I'm not saying play Green at C, I'm saying those are literally the only players I wouldn't trade at this point. The talent drop off after the big 3 is crazy. We literally have a bunch of bench players masquerading as starters. Moody, BP, Hield, etc. wouldn't be starters on any good team. Next year need to build this team to have a legit Starting 5 and worry about the bench after. Then after next year, full rebuild. We can't even say which 5 should finish the game. Kerry is playing mix and match / ride the hot hand every game. Cool, that works if mfers like BP would ACTUALLY STEP UP CONSISTENTLY. It's the playoffs! That's why plenty of games this team can't get into any rhythm. If we're gonna go down, quit giving mediocre players like BP the keys to the team. Why is handling the ball so much? The ball should be in Curry Jimmy or Draymond's hands 90% of the time.

Elephant in the room is a young talented 6'8" skilled athlete capable of scoring 30.....

...and Kerr has decided Payton and Buddy should get Kuminga's minutes.

How more dynamic and athletic are the Warriors with Kuminga?

What the story SHOULD be is Kuminga closing the game with moments of dominant offense and athletic defense.

Agree. And what's also funny is this team stinks at 3s. Kerr wants to go tiny, shoot nothing but 3s and get hammered on the glass. Pathetic.

I blame Kuminga more for this than Kerr. You think he'd be sitting if he played hard on defense, smart on offense, and went after rebounds aggressively?

For what it's worth, FVV can go 0-9 from 3 in game 7 (he's shooting ~9 threes/game this series), and would still finish the series at 37%, which is 2.5% better than he shot all season. Let's hope that kind of regression happens lol.
