None of the East teams scare me. They are all pretenders, we'll smoke em.
The West teams are the real deal.
imo Houston and OKC are the only squads that have a chance against us. Denver, Utah and Portland are classic pretenders to me. Everyone else sucks a big butthole.

Anyone who attends the games notice that? I haven’t been to a game in a little while.
Here in peace, but this clip sure back those comments up.

I’m not even mad at him leaving. He can do what he wants. We’ve won 3 titles in the last 4 years...As a long time Warriors fan, I never thought they would win 1 title in my lifetime. I’m just annoyed with all the drama he’s created this year. Just finish the year strong, be part of the team, ect. All this sulking BS is so childish.

I’ll go 33% clippers..39% knicks..28% Lakers...KD is all about the money..that’s why he sh*t on his teammates and fans in OKC.
He’s not going to a smaller market than here

Is this what it's come down to? Analyzing every step he takes?

Re: Sure sounds like KD is leaving
Best wishes to him.
I don't think he could honestly say he'll find a better basketball situation than staying with the Warriors.
But of course, there are a lot of other reasons why players would sign with an NBA team.
Wherever he lands, he may become dissatisfied again in a couple of years, as he apparently has become here.
Might be best for him to sign a 1 or 2 year deals in that case, as he's been doing.

Re: Sure sounds like KD is leaving
Steph gets it, Klay gets it, even Draymond gets it. But what some of these entitled millenials (KD maybe) don't understand is that it gets tough/boring/messy anywhere you go. The magic of the first couple of championships devolves into the drudgery of a 5th straight regular season and post season. New problems arise that need to be worked out. Personalities clash... you cannot escape that, its inevitable. You either want to go through that stuff and lose, or go through that stuff and stack rings... sup to you.

I'm not quite as pessimistic, I'll say 45% Knicks, 20% Clips, 10% Lakers (don't think he wants to play second fiddle to LeBron and deal with his passive-aggressive drama), and 25% Warriors. Which still means I think he's probably gone though.

Re: Sure sounds like KD is leaving
The comments and the video do make a compelling argument. Hope whatever he's going through don't effect us in the playoffs and we can grab another title.
If he decides to move on after the season, more power to him. He's a free agent and can do what he wants.

He's definitely been deferring a lot more in the last couple of weeks.
He's passing to Cousins in the backcourt for DMC to dribble across!
One of the reasons he presumably joined the Warriors is to maximize titles. But now says championships don't matter as much to him.
OK, that's his prerogative and I hope he can find peace and contentment with whatever else he thinks is important in his life.
Wonder if he'll have regrets if he never wins another title again, whether or not he wins this year. Because you can bet that reporters will constantly ask him if he regrets leaving and never winning titles again, if he's satisfied that he didn't create a greater legacy of championships.

Re: Sure sounds like KD is leaving
So he joins the best team in basketball and wins two championships..Big deal..It’s not the same as Curry’s first championship..
Think back..KD was a big time choke artist in OKC. Remember those stupid as* shots he took in the clutch? .He wasn’t good enough as an individual or as a teammate..His game doesn’t make his teammates better..Same with Westbrook..Mostly one on one crap.
BTW..Steph was the real NBA Finals MVP in 2018..Everyone on the warriors knew it except for Durant...
Warriors should have won 2 titles pre-Durant but got robbed..They would have won only 1 with Durant but a CP3 injury saved the day.

Re: Sure sounds like KD is leaving
No he didn't join that team.
They had to partially gut the roster to fit him in.
Now he did take less money one year to allow them to sign Iggy and Livingston.
In any event, the year before he came, we had threads here about his fit. Most people thought it would be no problem and nobody talked about all the depth the team would have to let go in order to get him.

Why is it only CP3's injury matters and not Iguodala's in last year's playoff series? If Iguodala hadn't gone down after three games, that series wouldn't have extended past game #5 or #6, regardless of whether CP3 was still available.
