A Foyle-esque big man isnt terrible if he boards, and Bitchsmack does. Just dont sign him to a huge deal. Even if his upside is Diop, you can use players like that. Players who are extremely specialized make excellent roleplayers.

Givony tweet:
The Knicks are hoping Biyombo drops to them at 17. That's unlikely, so they're exploring moving up. May have to jump ahead of Warriors at 11 about 3 hours ago

If Jerry West says get Klay, and we take him i won't be mad.

That being said i also still wouldn't be mad with Biyombo or Singleton.

One of the funniest things is the #5 pick when Stern says "with the 5th pick, the Sonics select Scot Pippen out of Central Arkansas." The announcer then replies "well, you've probably never heard of Scot Pippen." I just found it a little ironic, because we sure have now. Sometimes those small school guys can pan out.

I heard a story from a beat writer that before that draft he asked Jerry West to name one unknown college player who would be a star in the NBA. Take one guess who he said.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

A lot of defense is mindset - if Belinelli can learn to play D I think Klay can, too. Great shooter, long, good basketball IQ, you could do worse.

Biyombo not invited to the green room... I'm telling you, this kid could slip. He doesn't look like a basketball player to me.

Take Tristan Thompson at 11. Get #20 from Minny and take Jeremy Tyler. Then trade Monta to Denver for Afflalo(S&T), Felton and #22. Draft Honeycutt at 22. Re-sign Reggie. Cut Biedrins with amnesty rule.

Curry/Felton/Lin
Afflalo/Williams
Wright/Honeycutt
Lee/Thompson
Udoh/Tyler/Amundson

dudes leading the 2nd best comp in the land in blocks, in 17 minutes a game.

It tells me he might be able to play some defense

Hate those euros. But in all seriousness the gap between the NBA and the second best league in the world is so massive talent wise that they shouldn't even be in the same sentence. Not convinced on Biyombo, but I'll look into him.

Oh no doubt it is. But that league is a much stronger league than college

leading any league in blocks when you only play 17 minutes per is impressive. No doubt. And the guys a reaaaallllly good rebounder unlike udoh.

I'd prefer Singleton, but I'd take Biyombo in a heartbeat.

That's really odd, because it is supposedly better than NCAA. So, does that mean nobody should be drafted?

Second best pro league.

And just like how there's always gonna be some absurdly good player at a crappy pick up court there's always gonna be a good player in a crappy league. Calm down stat hero.

Last time Knicks wanted to move ahead of us, it was for Curry
