lot different than last year when we pretty much knew who it was

YES to Kuminga(built like Lebron, he'll be able to come off the bench in the Kelly Oubre role from day 1), Moody(classic 3D wing swingman has enough defensive versatility to come in behind Klay or Wiggins from day 1).

Tell me you haven’t seen Wagner play without telling me you haven’t seen Wagner play.

Or Giddey

What is Giddey other than a big body with court vision? His shot is horrible. It's like a Bob Cousy push shot. People are saying Kuminga is raw, this kid is really raw.

I just don't see what he does at an NBA level right now other than make the right passes on time. Also, his NBL team played a pretty slow half-court set with the ball in his hands. Not a lot of off ball movement. He played like Lebron or Luka but he's not going to be able to play like that in the NBA. Not until he improves a lot as a scorer.

His ability to get into the lane and finish at the bucket is pedestrian. He's not a plus athlete, he's not an above the rim player. Good defensive teams are going to smother and embarrass him at the beginning. He has a long way to go.

It's strangely quiet considering we're only 6 hours away from the draft. Other than Detroit saying they'll pick Cade at #1 (duh), Philly asking way too much for Simmons, and Philly buying a #53 pick, I haven't heard anything. Nothing about pick trades, no word on Beal or Lillard either. Seemingly dozens of possibilities (with no clarity) for the Warriors still out there in terms of trades and/or picks.

I'll eat my socks and underwear if Moody drops to 14 and we take him.

Warriors on the clock, and Myers still has a bajillion trade ideas and draft prospects to potentially draft running through his head, and hesitant to pull the trigger on any of them:

This is why I am prepared to be underwhelmed

I want it to be a crazy night for us and the league but most "rumors" these days are hypotheticals from guys with podcasts.

Feel like there's been a lot of fluff and no actual rumors with "sources".

On the other hand, this could be the "calm before the storm"

Also, wow 2nd round picks are getting expensive, Philly supposedly paid $2M for the #53 pick.

I think New Orleans was smart, selling that pick early for a premium. There’s multiple teams that have 3+ second-rounders, more picks will be sold when teams are on-the-clock, and they just jumped at a high offer.

I don't get the Kuminga thing. I'm all for being patient with Wiseman, but being patient on another rookie would be a bit much.

Moody seems like the best fit at 7.

Friends, just passing by to wish a nice, great, enjoyable draft night to all.

I'm shutting down my social media in a couple of hours from now, when I arrive home from work, just so I can enjoy the draft and not be spoiled every single pick and trade lots of minutes in advance, ruining what is the best night of the year, NBA-related, for me.

See you all after the draft, and go Warriors! Let's hope we draft 2 great pieces for our team, regardless of who's coming.

Cheers!

Here's hoping

7-Moody or Wagner
14-Trey or Duarte (unless someone unforeseen falls.)

What will you do if Moody is still on the board at 14 and the Warriors pick Davion Mitchell?

(Crossing my fingers that the answer is “poop in my underwear, and then eat it.”)

He's a very flawed player. The guy can't shoot or defend. His footwork is really awkward.
He is NOT LaMelo, don't waste a pick to make up for a previous mistake. It would make two mistakes.

Yeah I take back my ‘all in’ on Giddey lol. 14 sure but doubt he’s there.

Moody at 7 reminds me off nfl mock drafts where someone selected in the top 20 eventually drafts in the 3rd round
