Safe to say it is family related, and not some drug addiction that "some" are implying.

The negative Warrior narrative (especially around the Green-Poole punch, two timelines not being on parallel tracks (Wiseman being traded), Bob Meyers's contract situation, and not being able to win on the road) can be both deflating and demoralizing.

Why can't the media and the fanbase also point out how the Warriors organization has "circled the wagons" around Wiggins's leave-of-absence and has embraced giving Wiggins the latitude-and-time to work through whatever he and and his family are currently facing? The team appears united and supportive; and, at the risk of being labeled a subjective "Warrior homer," I view this as both refreshing and "character defining."

Dub nation is huge; the fanbase, especially on this board are "educated (also, emotional, too)" basketball fans; yet, there are things in life which are bigger and more important than basketball.

I want to give a "shout out" to the Warrior org (management, coaches, players) for how it has interacted with the public about Wiggins's leave of absence AND am hoping that Wiggins and his family are able to work through whatever they are currently having to address.

What I don't get is how the video of the Draymond punch, which was much more damaging from a team standpoint, was leaked within a day. But this situation which would probably have little impact on the team is being kept so quiet.

Because Andrew and the org have decided it’s best to keep it private, that’s it. Andrew seems like a pretty introverted sort of guy, and if he wants whatever he is going through to be kept private, we should applaud the team for respecting that wish. No leaks of it, while frustrating for someone like you, is a sign of a great culture and respect within the organisation.

It's actually not frustrating for me. I was however frustrated with the Draymond punch video leak. Why didn't the organization feel like that was something that should be kept private?

It's a different situation. The organization was clearly upset and angry about the leak. The video was CCTV footage that has more access than what the organization had control over. I got the impression that at the time of the leak, the organization was surprised of its existence. Has nothing to do with how the organization "feels".

I'm not saying it's not family related but I don't feel the team handled it well, there was Kerr saying a week ago that the cavalry is coming Wiggins being one of the guys coming back and now oh we hope he will come back? They should have said from the get go we have no idea how long he's going to be out and we hope he can come back soon period. The contradictions from Kerr and Myers has not been helpful and it only fuels rumors.

Wait, you think the organization leaked the video purposely? What led you to such conclusions?

Three weeks ago the Warriors said Wiggins would be out "indefinitely." What do you want them to say when they don't know when he'll be back?

No, I don’t think it was leaked purposefully. It’s just weird they didn’t put more effort into making sure it never saw the light of day. Especially when it seems like they are putting a full court press on to make sure that nothing comes out about the Wiggins situation.

Is it possible, that the org learned from that leak, and put things in place to make sure it never happens again?

Meyers and Kerr both said in the last two weeks they expected him back this season, Myers said he didn't expect that he wouldn't be back. Kerr said the cavalry is coming and he included Wiggins in that statement, that is hardly indefinitely to me.

I'm seeing people speculating on twitter that his wife is cheating on him and paternity tests are involved, rehab, ect. I dunno personally if it were me I'd just put out the real reason to stop people making up rumors. I'm not saying that this is what he should do, or that the public has a right to know what is going on. Everyone has to make their own decisions, but the longer this goes on radio silence the crazier stuff that people are going to start coming up with.

Q&A with Steve Kerr:

Q: The expectation was that Andrew will return at some point this season. Does that remain the expectation, that he'll be back?

A: I think that's the hope. But really there's nothing to report on ... If he's able to come back, then that would be great, and if not then that's the case, and whatever happens we handle it accordingly.

Yikes. Not exactly high confidence he'll even be back. Going to be hard for the Dubs to get any traction with 3 of their 4 best defensive players out indefinitely.

You're counting Kuminga? According to Kerr he's "day to day."

In other words, you’re going to keep spreading the internet rumors unless he does what you want. Douche bag. Go give Poole that big hug and shut your mouth.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.
