If Giannis was actually reffed like every other NBA player, he wouldn't finish a single game he's played this season. No NBA player gets pampered like he does when they ignore 90% of his offensive fouls every single game.

Kd ran to the lockerroom to call steph to see if there's a roster spot next year. Early bird gets the worm and all.

Took a while for him to call Steph, he needed to check the internets to see if there was any negaitive talk about him on the forums.

It’s funny that Kd gets so much hate now but gets so much praise when they try to bring down Steph.

Do we have Ewing theory potential here with Embiid? The Sixers are way more switchy without him. Reed can scale down defensively enough for them to go 1-5 if they want to. The drop with Embiid will open up the midrange for Boston and they have several guys who are comfortable operating there.

I expected Boston to be the team that got stops when it mattered but it was Philly today. They will not be able to play the same style of defense in crunch time with the Embiid lineups.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

They likely lost some focus mentally due to Embiid being out. They're not as good as they were last season defensively, but I still fully expect them to go past them even once Embiid is back.

Suns scored 87 points with KD playing 44 and Booker playing 45 minutes , 27 shots for KD and 29 for Booker.

Suns shot 19.4% from 3, had a total 5 FTs, 2 for KD and 3 for Booker.

Hmm they played Damian Lee 26 minutes, because they needed more shooting? Ross and Warren got DNPs.

So KD and Booker played your turn, my turn ball. Book shot well but KD didn’t.

Looks like both of them will need to score over 30-35, maybe one goes for over 40 while the other scores at least 30-35.

Suns might get swept, I think they only get 1 game tops.

Told you guys about Paul Reed... jeez, think him being our 1st big off the bench.

And if we could have Josh Hart for Donte then... what a team we would be.

Both are out of our price/trade range now though, obviously.

Yep. Gutted the roster for a star. Now came to a point paying the price for it. Two guys practically playing the entire game, taking turns at one on 5 basketball. You could clearly see when they were elevating for the shot neither had any legs left in the 4th Quarter.

He’s going to get a pity MVP after he cried about it last year and with all the race talk on ESPN, but Jokic is the real MVP without a doubt

Watch Miami go after Dillon and turn him into an useful piece.

Thing is, they didn't even give guys like Warren or Ross a chance, guys who can hit some wide open looks.

So yeah they gave up some very good role players to get KD but Monty Williams played Damian Lee over Ross or Warren in game 2. Lee played well earlier in the season but he's shooting like 23% from 3 in 6 playoffs games and he's a big defensive liability. Ross and Warren aren't known for being 2-way players but they're bigger and more athletic than Lee so at least they have a better chance to defend, unless they're completely ignorant about the Suns' defensive rotation schemes, having joined the team just a couple of weeks ago.

Dillon turned himself into a pretty good POA defender, starting with the 2020-21 play-in games where he guarded Curry.

He's been their primary defender since.

Thing is, I think he got his extension for being something of a shotmaker. I remember him at Oregon he was a big clutch shooter.

His last two seasons his 3-point shooting has been in the low 30s after being in the 35-37% range his first 4 seasons. That is why they extended him off his rookie deal.

His playoffs shooting has really fallen off, taking more 3s and just ending up under 24% in the Lakers series.

Problem may be he got too distracted getting into these personal feuds.

He can certainly shoot a lot better than he has, a career 80% FT shooter.

He needs to get his head right if he wants to continue.

GSW likely won't be interested but if he's only getting vet minimum deals, he wouldn't be the worst option, though I guess there's a risk that he will stir up too much drama and the team may have to cut him in the middle so they need more character guys as well as guys who can produce.

So far it looks like Booker is the main option for Phoenix in game 3 vs. Denver, a game they have to win.

KD didn't like being seen as #2 to Curry with GSW and now he's #2 to Booker?

Well to be fair, Booker has been hot in the playoffs, shooting very high percentage while KD hasn't been his usual efficient self.

He wasn't in last year's playoffs either.

Then he had a crazy efficient season with the Nets before being traded to Phoenix.

Unless the Suns win this game, it may not matter who gets to be #1 because their season could end soon.
