With a generational player, I would say most of the team will end up winning multiple championships, with KG being the only exception , well its the Wolves.....As you can see, a good FO or coach only matters that much when comes to winning because 1 guy means so much on the court and NBA players are generally very talented so it's not that hard to find good pieces to pair with your generational player. It's actually quite easy to prove this, lets see where this team lands when Curry retires, if Lacob is that great we should see a few more rings in the next decade right?
Lol whatever. Old Warriors owner would've traded Curry away for a bag of chips. Average owners would've screwed this up. You forget, Lacob started making the right moves BEFORE Curry's ascension. Curry had a decent rookie year but the team was sht. I am baffled at the lack of appreciation for Lacob. He's one of the best owners in sports, period. He's got the track record to prove it. Saying "Curry is a god" and he's basically the ONLY reason for the Warriors success is wild. The team had to create a culture of winning, and Curry wasn't the only one who contributed to that.

The thing about having a good owner who LOVES TO WIN and has a track record of excellence and putting his own money and action behind his words, is that you can trust that process and trust him to make the right moves for the right reasons - to win. Does that GUARANTEE winning a ring every year? Course not, but I'll take Lacob over any other owner in the NBA for that alone. Dude basically flipped the worst franchise in sports at the time in record time and has 4 rings since 2010. What do you have? "Mmmm I don't like him." He's earned a very long leash imo.
