I hope so. Podz and Hield don't provide much resistance defensively. GP2 and Looney are awesome on defense but the spacing is a challenge with Dray and Jimmy.

The above lineup taking off is our best hope. I like that Moody shoots it with confidence and competes defensively. Kuminga is always a threat to attack the cup.

Actually I like Gui, guy competes hard and is a threat to shoot.

13 for 33?

Really, they should just rest Curry until they have a full squad.

I guess it's clear we have to play small. Post really has struggled against better teams, and I was in on development before we traded for Jimmy -- but now that we have, probably time to tighten things up.

Dray
Jimmy
Moody
Buddy or Podz
Steph

I'm also curious how the game would have ended had we gotten the 8 second violation we deserved when down 5. Man that Laker whistle, just wild. Austin "head snap" Reaves with 15 FT, 11 of them in the 2nd half after the game got close. Seemed like after the game got fun with some chippiness that the whistle got super tight and Austin/Lakers head snapped to a staggering 29-12 2nd half FT advantage. Really wish they allowed us to play fun, real basketball the whole way. The Lakers looked shook in a physical game.

Hopefully Jimmy can grift galore, seems to be a requirement in some of these games. Steph doesn't get calls.

Curry and Podz competing for worst shooting night -- won by Podz -- all heart, no shot. SVG was all over the W's lack of effort defensively tonight. "Some things in basketball are hard. Running back on D is not."

Sure, but also maybe ask why Draymond left his man wide open to score while he was complaining about it.

Maybe Olynk who is shooting 44% from 3p, or Seth Curry who is shooting 45% from 3p. Try to get some floor space for our guys.

Kerr is such a liability. If any other coach consistently had their starting lineup down 10 to start games (30 different lineups!) while also consistently finding ways to collapse finishing games... they wouldn't be on the hot seat, they would be gone.

I have very little confidence Kerr figures anything out and sticks with it once Jimmy/Kuminga are back.... but we shall see.

it might be unlikely but I saw a report that Khris Middleton is a guy who can be a buyout candidate! he would be a nice piece coming off the bench!

I'm starting to think trading for Butler was a choke job. No size on the team and you go from a long rebounding wing in Wiggins to another 6'5" dude? I don't care what the Warriors do. If they don't sign a LEGIT start big there will be game after game like tonight.....just bigger dudes toying with the cute scrappy Warriors.
They signed a 35 year old to the same amount as Curry....but can't nab a legit 6'10 defensive minded center? This will be eight years with nothing in the middle.

I would take him if he became available. He can still play in iso and handle the ball when some of the starters are out. In the games Hield and Podz cannot man up forwards they are defending or Kuminga shot is not falling I feel okay with Middleton hitting some corner 3's and guarding forwards. Middletons shooting 40% on 3's.

Got to be Marcus smart at the top of the list if he's bought out.

He'd be poa and probably their 3rd or 4th best 3 pt shooter.

Brown is another good one.

Yea when steph missed those 2 wide open layups I thought it was going to be a blow out. I'm shocked we were able to make it somewhat of a game.
