I've said it before, getting JO doesn't put the Warriors as contenders, and regardless of who we trade for him, his contract would severely hamper the FO to resign Monta and Biedrins, and make moves until his contract up.

Look at some recent deals. Did Bynum or Amare move? No. Did Dallas trade Howard? No....Atl didn't give a starter for Bibby. We won't deal Andris for 2 yrs of JO. Especially since to match a $20 mill contract--Harrington-Pietrus-POB-Barnes,all have to go-then we need to find a few mill more--while Indy has to stay under the 15 man roster limit..
I guess Indy might WISH we'd TPE someone like Murph-but that's unlikely. Instead we may need to TPE elswhere after we trade most of the bench.
With JO out-recovering-out-whatever....he probably gives us LESS this year than the guys we give up...probably by a lot.
CENSORED... No comment.

We may not have to worry anymore rem. The Ws are not trading Beans anymore. Thank goodness Mullie's got some stones. He apparently told Nellie that it's not going to happen. Possibly the same with Wright. Now that Nellie knows this, he can start coaching. No need for him to sandbag anymore to try and get the exact team he wants. He aint getting it and will have to make do with what he has. Based on what this teams' done thus far (in spite of Nellie's substitutional handicapping) he has a lot. Now he can coach for the remainder of the season and we see what Nellie really is capable of.

It just means we HAVE to re-sign the pieces in place or make S&T's to keep the talent level up.
All being over the Lux tax does is take you out of the FA market (when's the last time we had a good FA signing?) and take money out of Cohan's pocket?
You get a shot at roster with BD, JO, Monta, Wright and Dre then you damn well better be willing to pay the Lux tax to keep it together or you don't deserve to owns an NBA franchise.
Well said
