Poured 81 points at Pro-Am, recently (Again, means nothing, though).

Feel bad for the guy. Definitely can be had for veteran's min to partial guaranteed deal.

Yeah I don't see how he can't be a good sparkplug off the bench. Getting value out of over the hill backup guards like Jarret Jack and Nate Robinson is kind of our thing after all.

Isaiah-Poole backcourt is allowing 81 points a game though

He's a bad defender and a huge injury risk. Which is bad enough before you throw in that he's a bit selfish and has rubbed teammates the wrong way.. so no, no interest here

Ok this off-season makes a lot more sense now. The Warriors had an ace up their sleeve the entire time

The basketball circle of life where Steph ends the last 5 years of his career playing alongside Monta.

His body is right again, and he’d be a great ball handling bench option that can seriously switch on defence because of his size and length.

Exum
Poole
Iguodala
Kuminga
Wiseman

Now THAT is a good 2nd unit.

Watching some of the Olympics, Exum looked healthy and like he has finally grown into his frame. No longer looks like he is about to break.

I'd love to bring in Exum over GP2/Mulder.. a guy with some upside at least. If he's got it together, he fits the Livingston role better than anyone

Harry Giles is interesting. He’s shown flashes in the past but hasn’t been healthy enough to really show his game.

As an extra big man, I wouldn’t hate having him.

interesting, I heard him on the radio and they asked about using the TP MLE and he said that he didn't see them using it at this point so I thought they were done adding FA's. I didn't think about them adding another player on the vet minimum.

How many of those free agents are willing to take the minimum at this point in their careers, especially someone like DSJ, who came into the league with some hype?

According to cap expert Bobby Marks, using the TPMLE would cost the Warriors $41M in tax.

So the vet minimum for one guy would cost what Kawhi's getting for a yearly salary. Kind of puts it in perspective.

Meanwhile, I'd have no problem with Exum. I'd love to see him salvage his potential, especially here.

I wonder who we offered it to.. I really dont buy that we were willing to pay 50m for Batum or Mills, for sure

If you're spending that kind of coin, its either a multi-year deal on someone you think fits (maybe McConnell? Zeller?) or some vet that perfectly fits.. paying 50m for Mills to do what Poole does, or the same for Batum to do what Moody does.. doesn't seem particularly saavy

Not the vet minimum, which is roughly $1.5-$2.5M in salary to the player. That probably costs about $15M overall to the team at this point.

The quote was about the taxpayer MLE, which is $5.9M in salary. That’s what would become about $47M, apparently.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?
