LAVINE is a 1 dimensional player that dont bring much to the table other than scoring, and he will be worse in the PS. comparing Lavine to Cam Johnson, Johnson wins every time (size, defense and shooting). If the cost is just 1 FPR (or JK) its not a bad deal.

Curry Podz Wiggins Johnson Green
GP2/Hield Moody Santos Looney

I agree Cam J should be easier to get than Lavine just based on salaries but it depends on if BKN is willing to settle for one first instead of the reported 2. Lavine probably doesn't cost any 1st?

Lavine can duplicate what JP brought defensively while bringing in more consistent scoring than what Buddy is bringing. I'm just saying I'd rather go for Lavine than Butler although both probably cost too much salary wise.

Lavine has a 15% trade kicker (i think), but I think he'd wave it to be reunited with his BFF.

BTW, there is a way to get lavine without wiggins nor dray.

Warriors get Lavine, Craig, Tht, Phillips, Sasser, Klintman. It should also leave enough space for 1 min player.

Bulls get kuminga, heild, slomo, gp2, slomo, fontecchio

They cut salary and get kuminga instead of picks.

Pistons get Moody, tjd, and Duarte.

Moody reunites with cade. Tjd is insurance for when big stew gets thrown in jail.

problem with Lavine is you have to lose one of the Wigs and Dray.. so we are not getting better by much if better at all.

can they get lavine and cam johnson sacrificing dray?
curry-lavine-wiggins-johnson-looney seems pretty well-balanced starting 5 in terms of shooting, scoring, positional size.

To get LaVine and Johnson they'd have to send out about $70M in salary just to stay under the hard cap. Then more to refill the roster, depending on how many players they send out.

I'm aware but I don't think there is a chance Chicago would take on Draymond and SloMo's contracts.

I rather take Vuc than Lavine.

I want to keep Wiggins. The worst Dubbs pay is a 1st and bunch of near non-playable spares for salary match.

We saw how Post made a difference. And he is not NBA ready. With Vuc, he is a better than Post... with some more scoring both inside and outside. To not see TJD or midgetball, I can live with Vuc.

I think Warriors go for Vooch as it will cost us the least. Warriors will go into the summer with assets that are still tradeable and have a solid starting C.

I really don't get the love for Vooch. I said it earlier or in a different thread.... but he's not even a good shooter, and thats like the one thing people think they are getting with him.

He is basically TJD and Post in one. Not great, but doesn't kill you if experiment fails. If it works, it cost very little.

Lavine and Butler trade, they scare me. Dubbs will be giving up the house with so much risk... for years of ramifications. So I rather have the team stink.

Or stay put and fail for sure... this is 2021 all over again. There is no Jordan Poole on this roster to save them next year. And haters already said JK is not.

As much as I hate LeQueen, he pushes buttons to try things out instead of keep failing. 100% opposite of Dubbs at trade deadline.

The only other way out is to trade Curry and Dray and start over.

Schroeder+Hield+Anderson+pick(s)
For
Poole

Hields minutes go to Moody and Podz. Andersons minutes go to Kuminga and Santos. Poole replaces Schroeder since he's a better fit offensively.

Poole might hate Dray but he gets to decide if he hates losing more.

C Looney, Post, TJD
PF Green, Kuminga, Santos
SF Wiggins, Moody, Waters
SG Poole, GP2, Spencer

To Chicago - Schroeder, Payton, looney
Bulls get all expiring and off all future money owed to lavine

Dubs get - lavine, sasser, reed
Warriors get their target and keep the talent they care about

Pistons get - hield, Anderson, Chicago lotto protected first and GSW top5 protected first this year.
Get two likely mid first rounders for taking on some salary.

If we go after lavine, we need to keep Wiggins and dray imo otherwise no point.

not even sure if we are better, our best lineup have both Looney and GP2 in it...

Mavs have 3 centers now. Maybe trade for one of them?

They have 2. AD says he hates playing center. Now he won't have to

Jimmy Butler to Phoenix Suns

Brad Beal & Kel'el Ware to the Golden State Warriors

Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Dennis Schroeder, and Brandon Podziemski to Miami Heat

The players from GSW can be manipulated

Kevin Looney, Gary Payton, and Kyle Anderson in particular.

The Warriors receive a big that can shoot and a 40% from 3pt shooting guard.
