Perhaps ironically what has put them in the situation of needing to beat the Clippers was losing to a highly motivated Heat (Wiggins traded for Butler and made a strong contribution) and Harrison Barnes of all players making a game winning 3 point shot. If he had made a few more 3 point shots of any degree of difficulty or even a handful of wide open 2 point shots GSW would have won the 2016 title and he might still be a Warrior.

Should still have won those games obviously however.

If I'm reading that right, it unfortunately means LAC will probably have something to play for on Sunday, as they can still end up anywhere from 5 to 7. Going to be a tough game.

I wouldn’t worry for Sunday game if Kerr had better PI record 0-3. HOU is better option, than LAL and refs with HC adv.

Better news that I can’t imagine this GSW would lose 3 games in a row at home to miss PO

Rather see us play the lakers and have clippers fall to 7. Clippers can easily upset Houston and we would have home court over clippers if both teams advance to the semi’s.

Memphis, AD and sac have our numbers in the play ins.

Sorry, I just cannot get behind this idea that dropping into the play-in is somehow better., or even OK for that matter. For this old team, 1-2 fewer games and more days of rest is absolutely critical. Take your chances with a very well-rested team vs. the Lakers where you get 4-7 games to figure it out instead of 1-2.

BEAT THE CLIPPERS AT ANY COST.

This team cannot win in a must win one game situation. A LAC team without kwahi spanked this team hollow. Sorry for gloom, but I donot see how this team can beat LAC even if both Harden and Kwahi donot suit up for this game.
The debt for the getting Butler in the trade will need to be paid off by the next 3 consecutive losses.

This is a whole new roster vs. the Clips.

Here's your lineup vs. Clips last time they played:

Trayce Jackson-Davis
Kyle Anderson
Andrew Wiggins
Buddy Hield
Dennis Schroder

102-92 Clips win

If GSW loses in the playin, that would be the bad outcome for the trade. Whatever noise they make this year is what they get for tying up 120 million and losing a 1st round pick.

They at least need to get in a 7 game series. Flaming out in the play-ins would be a major disappointment.

I was hoping they could win a round after the trade.
