Last night game win is meaningless if GSW doesn't win the title. And losing KD is a huge drawback. In the playoff, KD on the floor is +80 and KD off the floor is -14. The road to the title doesn't get easy after last night. There is still a lot of games to be played and I hope and pray KD will be back soon.

What's so frustrating how this team has a tendency to lose a big lead, one too many. Missed layup - I accept that. Bone-head pass turnover - not acceptable.

Great, great win. Maybe I'm delusional, maybe I have too much faith in their championship mettle, maybe the loss of their most productive player when their roster is thinner than it's ever been during this run is too much to overcome, but I think they can win this.

Time for some unsung Heroes to actually become Heroes.

Would be a great story.

I think it opens it up for the bench guys to be more productive. Andre also has a knack for stepping up in times like this. I'm also more optimistic than I expected myself to be. This is my finals though. We knock out Houston depleted as we are and anything else is gravy assuming KD is out for an extended period of time.

I've seen references to KD having a left calf strain in 2017 and missing two games but I don't remember that.

Was that in the playoffs?

Or was that the year that Zaza fell on his knee and he was out most of the first round?

On the play, it was just a standard pull up jumper. Maybe he pushed off that one foot more than usual or maybe when he landed. He actually turned and took a step before looking back and reaching for his calf/Achilles.

Supposedly it's easy to tell right away if it's a ruptured Achilles. They wouldn't need the MRI to determine/confirm Achilles injury.

So the MRI will show the degree of strain but people on the GB are already talking weeks.

If by "this" you mean the series then sure, they could steal one of these two games. Don't see us having any chance to win it all though. Our entire rotation would be:

Curry
Klay
Dre
Dray
Looney

washed up Livingston
McKinnie

Meanwhile, Milwaukee just got 59 points from their bench.

If they get by Houston, Bogut will play in the next series, probably start. Finals also, if they make it.

Yeah, I'm willing to be delusional enough to think they could win the whole thing. Maybe Durant comes back for the finals. Maybe Cousins comes back for the finals. Maybe Toronto and Milwaukee wear each other down. Maybe Milwaukee's lack of playoff experience finally shows up on the big stage.

I'm not going to count them out. I love these guys.

That is how Kobe reacted, like someone kicked him from behind.

Hope I'm wrong but even if it isn't an Achilles, his availability for the rest of the series is in question.

Curry was awful until after KD's injury. In fact they had to go to postup on that shot before the injury.

Draymond is nearing 30 but he's still a hotheaded dumbass. Giving away a techical in full view of everyone. They should ship his bum ass out for that **** alone.

That was a flop by cp3. I expect league to rescind it.

Fully agree. Seemed like he didn't touch him (or mean to) at all. Chris Paul is just so awful in every way now. I dare anyone to name a worse contract in the league. Wiggins? I'd take his over CP for 3 more years at 40~ mill. He's cooked and being every bit as insufferable as he's always been.

I agree and if this goes to game 7 the owners should go all out and bring back some 2015 guys to be on the sidelines Speights, Barbosa, etc in support.

Rockets fans are now like let's do what they did to us last season with KD out - injuries suck - no excuse.

Same people who have been whining for a full year that they would have won without CP3's injury.

We have won series with KD out, with Steph out, with Cousins out, with Igudoala out, with Steph injured, etc etc

Let's go! Let's keep rolling and hope we are still playing when KD is ready!

Bench scoring depends on good ball movement or driving and kicking the ball out, neither of which was really going on with KD in the offense. I think there is some reason to believe that we'll see an uptick in good shot opportunities for some of MIA guys right now. Whether they convert or not is a different story.

Looney will start. Jerebko and McKinnie will get more minutes with KD out. Both teams have been playing 7 players anyway. We got this!

I agree. For all his greatness, KD didn't seem to get the memo about pushing the pace. Even Klay tried to do it with his ugly dribbling when he got the ball in the back-court. Draymond and Steph always knew (sometimes too carelessly).
