I kinda liked this guy and there was a time when I was kind of interested in bringing him over here. Glad we didn't, lol. I'd rather have Speights, at least he's not a pothead (just a bad driver) lol.

He's not juicing. It can only be for recreational drug use or the league would have stated it was for performance enhancing drugs. 5 day suspension is the penalty for testing for marijuana a 3rd time.

He's extremely similar to Speights. Both are offensive role players who are very eager to take long-2's. This gives good scoring #'s but is far worse for the team than guys who do nothing on offense. Add in bad defense as well, and the bad O/bad D combo predictably gives horrific +/- #'s every season. As much as I question the competence of signing Speights, at least GS didn't give him as much as Hickson got.

If Denver's smart and healthy they'll go with Gallo/Faried/Chandler covering all the SF/PF minutes anyway.

I think Hickson is a better defender and rebounder, Speights the better shooter (Speights can actually shoot the ball beyond 10 feet). I personally like Speights and think he's an ideal 3rd stringer who can play two positions and is very tough.

Surprisingly, 5 days is the penalty for first time offense on PED's. But the league has to announce that it was a PED. Because. Cheating.

Wolves have offered Bledsoe a max deal. Wow! Maybe they aren't tanking. Should be interesting to see if Suns match (or do an S & T). This might give us a better idea of how the Warriors are going to handle dealing with Klay's extension.

Suns extend Bledsoe to 5 Yrs/$70M. Forces them into a max deal when it appeared that Phoenix didn't want to. Also fully guaranteed. They better hope he stays healthy as they've invested a whole lot for a guy who could turn out to be injury prone.
