Maybe. But they lost to the Lakers tonight by only 8 points and Anthony Edwards had 28 points on 50% shooting with 7 rebounds, 5 assists, a steal, and 2 blocks. In his last 6 games, he's averaging 20 pts, 5.7 reb, 3.5 ast on 46% shooting. If he starts to figure it out, look out. These guys won't be good, probably, but they can definitely improve and move up the standings.

The lakers without ad have been squeaking by teams all year. They’ve been in multiple ots recently.
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

Although, DLO is a talented offensive player, the Wolves are much better as a team without DLO.

He just looks different too - and I havent really checked, but my guess is that less DLo = better Ant-Man. This DLo injury is a huge blessing in plain sight for the Wolves.

Would say blessing in disguise but I dont think many Warriors, Wolves, or Lakers fans will be surprised that the Wolves look better without him, and it allows Ant to try himself out as a lead scoring guard. Which so far has suited him very well

Now I don't believe the Wade hype, and I can't forget how poorly he looked early on in the season, but I think Wolves fans have to be very happy with what they've seen lately, and I'd imagine that DLo will once again be on the block in the offseason, KAT be damned. In fact, might make more sense to trade KAT in the offseason if they can't bring in a defensive complement to him.. without a complement, KAT is a fatally flawed star

The only question I have for Edwards has to do with the mental aspect. The athleticism is no joke and the guy is skilled.

He's a brick **** house Monta at this point. Which may sound bad, but early Monta played defense, passed somewhat decently, and gave us a ton of optimism.. but then he just stopped caring. He got his money, and then it only became about the scoring. Edwards has one great thing working for him in that regard - he's already got paid. So Edwards might be the result of what a motivated Monta Ellis might have looked like

To bad Jimmy Butler isn’t around and engaged. Because he’s be a great mentor for the kid. He needs a legit veteran presence or coach that is hard nosed and someone he’d look up to. If steered correctly, he could be great.

Twolves suck. I mean they really suck. One team can jump but they are at worst 2nd pick if a team jumps them

Haha.

Wolves losing is the only thing making me not go irate over the fact that the Warriors just lost to the f'ing Orlando Magic.

Nate Duncan has no chill
Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

I really hope we get the 4th or 5th pick this year but if not even next year's T Wolves pick should be great.

My prediction of the Wolves being 8-28 by midseason is looking good.

It was going so well, I have no idea who this guy is, but I don't like any changes that could derail what they've achieved.

ARen't their odds of landing #4 or #5 greater if they're not the last records-wise?

That is, wouldn't it be in the Warriors best interest that the Wolves finish like 4th worth record than one of the bottom 3 record?

Return to Golden State Warriors
