Just thinking out loud. How about Myles Turner for Wanamaker + Oubre + some sort of FRP. Not the Minny pick of course.

Oubre's up to 32 percent on three for the season. After the start he had, that means he's shooting pretty damn well from 3 now, and everything else he's doing has improved too.

I think they said 37% for Feb during the broadcast last night.

On post yesterday's game Warriors All 82 podcast, Anthony Slater said 44% for February.

Having Poole back on the bench means nothing to Kerr.

We will just have to deal with Wanamaker gets his minutes.

I think you have to look at Wanamaker in this context: Warriors expect to make the playoffs. Warriors make the playoffs and Steph gets injured, who runs the offense? Poole? Manion? That sounds very risky. Wanamaker is just disaster insurance. Now that Poole has gotten some playing time running an offense in the Orlando bubble, instead of being a misplaced SG on a horrible Warriors squad, I expect he will get his chance to run the Warriors second unit. Shouldn't be too hard to beat out Wanamaker, huh?

After his 2 for 30 start or whatever, he's shot 37% from 3 since, according to the announcers yesterday.

It was the first Warriors game Ive been able to watch this year, and Oubre looked good.

Sure, except if Steph gets injured there isn’t much point being in the play-offs.

Wanamaker being a disaster insurance is a joke. Wanamaker is a disaster and needs insurance.

Well said. Thankfully I doubt we need to survive the whole season with that particular disaster still getting minutes. Even Kerr must see the writing on the wall at some point, right? Even if Wanamaker is his boo.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

I want to trade this guy as possible because I don't think all this hate is good for his mental health. Hehe. I was listening to a podcast and one of the reporters said "**** Wanamaker." Is that legal? Haha.

A month ago or so, before the Heat started hitting their stride, I actually wanted to trade Oubre for Dragic. We could have add Wanamaker to that deal.

At this point does anyone have a suggestion on how to move forward with Oubre? It’s complicated on a couple different levels.

Not just the % but the volume (2.5 3s per game in FEB) and the 3s he is willing to take and able to make. Not just corner 3s but deep wing 3s and timely 4th quarter 3s.

Dude is not shy of the moment that's for sure.

I've probably said this 2-3 times already but I'm really really hoping we can keep him in the mix for next year when hopefully we find our way back to title contention.

Keep him and resign him.

Funny, this is my thread about trading him, but I may now be wanting him to stay long term.

Don't want to say I told you so...but...

He's certainly playing more like he was expected to play. He brings a lot, but he definitely has flaws. I'm interested to see him the rest of way as he gets more integrated. At this point, I'd be willing to bring him back as a sixth man, since he can fill a lot of slots. If he gets better at fitting in (as he seems to be doing) he'll be a nice weapon on a serious playoff team. Or maybe start him and have Wiggins be the sixth man.

There are a bunch of reasons why he won't be back

I think we will learn alot more about oubre in the next 6 games. Hes been shining vs bad teams, so getting alot of baskets vs broken coverages. Lets see how he handles it.

Personally, i think he will continue to do well because the starting unit is legit and stabilized. Secondly, he will get limited exposure with wanamaker and the bench mob.

My guess is that Mannion is who they're hoping for as back-up PG. He's making progress in G. We may see him take Wanamaker's minutes before the season's over.

Unlikely. Wanamaker is experienced coverage for playoffs. I think the real plan is for him to take the spot next year. While getting him some PT this year.
