He and Dlo are made for each other.

I mean KAT is their best offensive player and he's going to demand touches

I havent watched them in almost a month but I'm gearing up to do it again soon.. last I saw, Ant was starting to turn it around by being a more complete player, right after DLo got hurt. It looks like that continued. Good for the Wolves fans, I dont wish DLo upon any team unless their fans are total douchebags, like the Hawks, Celtics, Nets, Kings, Bulls, Knicks, 76ers, Raptors, Cavaliers, Kings, Pistons, Pacers, Bucks, Hornets, Kings, Heat, Magic, Wizards, Lakers, Clippers, Suns, Nuggets, Blazers, Thunder, Jazz, Kings, Mavericks, Rockets, Kings, Grizzlies, Pelicans, or Warriors.

The Wolves are flat out trash. Even with Cade Cunningham, they'll still be bottom 3.

I think KAT has evolved into what he has because of the situation, and like Wiggins, needs a system around him to really maximize him. I'm not going to judge that Finch guy based on the first couple weeks, because he's basically implementing a new system on the fly. The team has a brand new HC, not even an interim from within, which is super disorienting.

The Wolves are not playing for this year anymore clearly, and that's fine, and probably the correct move. A 40% chance to retain their pick, and lock in a top 3 pick, is a best case scenario at this point. Meanwhile, Finch has to evaluate where they are currently at, and try and make little tweaks that have long-term implications.

I'm not big enough on KAT to hope we're the ones who trade for him, but if we were the pre-Steph Warriors, I'd be all over trying to get him and finding a complement big to him.

The Wolves have been devoid of a solid system for so long that its hard to see anyone having sustained success there, unless they are an iso specialist. But if they go forward with Rubio - Ant - Beasley - Vanderbilt(?) - KAT, I think that's a decent enough team in the interim, while they try and upgrade at PG and PF. I dont see any way that DLo is part of that plan, but I dont think they'll be able to unload him.

Rubio shooting uber efficient yet the Suns are neck and neck with them.. not a great sign

Gotta say though - either the Suns arent as good as we thought, or the Wolves look a lot better. Its hard to figure out right now. Little A, little B most likely

Scouts say there are five star players in this draft; Warriors have a 60% chance of getting the #4 or #5 pick. Can't trade that! Too valuable. If Warriors want to trade a first they can trade their own 1st.

If the Warriors don't trade their own pick (again), in theory they could pick #1 AND #4 in the 2021 draft.

Also in theory, Warriors could have no first round pick at all this year!

5. Kuminga
6. Johnson
7. Barnes
8. Bouknight

And for reference on where I would have had this years class, I had Wiseman number 1 and would probably have him at 7 if the drafts were combined.

All I know is I really, really like Bouknight. If we whiff on any of the top 5, I want him.

I'm assuming Wolves will have the worst record, and as a result their pick will come no later than #5.

Wolves host the Rockets baseball style next weekend. On one hand, we benefit if the Wolves have a worse record than the Rockets, but on the other it would be karmic justice for the Rockets' skid to reach 27 games (19 down, 8 to go).
Then they meet once in Houston in late April. Those three games are gonna go so far to determine who gets the ping pong balls.

When I watch them after watching the Rockets and Grizzlies recently, I dont think thats gonna happen. Rubio-Edwards-KAT are a solid trio. And I know adding Rubio to that is weird, but its important because it means DLo isn't playing. And DLo was our ace in the hole, the guy bringing them down from the inside. So I think they land in the bottom 5, but barely, and I'd expect our pick to be in the 5-7 range.

I don't see how the Wolves stay behind Houston this season. Even if they want to.

God damn, I want that pick so bad.

Before they discussed the trade, Bob should have sent a few special bottles of Colombian aguardiente for Rozas to sweeten the deal with no protection.

If their owner was getting too antsy to sign off, Joey would just put his bootstraps on:

Wolves said to be very active in the trade market.

Aaron Gordon linked with them.

With the emergence of Antman, maybe trying to dump culver or Beasley.

Or in their wildest dreams DLo?

If they are trying to dump Beasley, I'd be all over giving them Oubre for Beasley. He's had some legal troubles but nothing that indicate he'd be a locker room distraction, and he profiles as a very good scoring 6th man.

Of course theyd probably want more for Beasley though

MIN is looking for a defensive 4 that can play alongside KAT, simple as that. Gordon on the low end of that spectrum but he'd be very useful, and them landing Gordon would definitely devalue the 22 pick if they landed top 3 in the lotto this year

Have you read Beasleys off court issues? I don’t want an ass like that on the Warriors. The Warriors have had high quality men playing for them during the Lacob run era, I seriously doubt they’d trade for this reported scumbag.

He had some people parked in front of his house, he went out and tapped the butt of his gun along their windshield. Cops then found guns and weed on his property

In terms of suspension worthy things, I'm really not phased by that.

What? When?

The only other incident with Beasley was when Su'a Cravens, ex of his current wife, made some sort of comment on IG, and then they scrapped into an apartment lobby. Considering hitting a woman in the face seems like quite a newsworthy topic, there's nothing on it that I can find

Yeah I can't find it now either, wierd. I was chatting with the Minny board members about this other incident a while back. There was a report on it, although there were no charges or anything, just eye witness accounts. If I find I'll post.
