If Harden cared about rings he'd play a team concept and work on defense.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Oh he wants a ring all right. He just wants to do it his way.

He plays a team concept ... it's just that it's Team Harden.

And Harden's defense is about as good as it's going to get, he's just not built to defend guards. He should be defending just slower 3s and faster 4s.

the best thing about the Harden trade was that the Warriors had nothing to do with it

It's going to be amusing watching Nets games. You want to see grown men fighting over who gets to hold the ball? I do. Just not on my team.

Hahaha... Durant warned Harden about playing for Kerr.

I don't know. I might have want it just to see Oubre gone. And the end of Box-and-1 or triple D against Curry.

Irving's out tonight and Harden is questionable. Monday against the Bucks all 3 should be playing.

Oh Irving is coming back now? Last I saw he was threatening to sit out the season. That would make the Bucks game appointment TV. I'll watch tonight if Harden plays though.

Yeah, Irving's out because of quarantine, Harden is out because of physicals, either his own or one of the traded players, I'm not sure which. In a trade, all players involved have to pass a physical before any of them can play or even practice.

Harden is playing tonight since Levert just passed his physical(although not without hiccups, Pacers get an extra 2nd rounder as compensation).

So far I'm finding the worst part about this trade is the fact that I can no longer enjoy a KD game.

Its hard to gauge what the team will look like with Kyrie there. For example, Harden started at PG tonight. He seemed willing to move the ball, but more importantly he pushed the pace a few times. People might say he has been good in defense but really he just snagged a few steals.

They are playing footsie with the Magic so far. Again, you really can't tell much until Kyrie is playing.

I know Harden is persona non grata around these parts but I think, injuries permitting, that they win it all this year.

Maybe, maybe not. Annually Harden ball looks a lot more pedestrian in the playoffs. The east is a lot better than usual and there are a few major matchup issues for them along the way.

I think defense and injuries/lack of depth kill them in the end. But they're contenders.
