This team is obviously tanking. Has to be it, right? Question is, why are you keeping Steph? He keeps you in the middle of the pack (at best) and only hurts your true objective.

Put your cards on the table. Show your hand. Your bluffing skills are atrocious.

Just end this season. Go to the lottery. And trade Steph before the deadline. It's torture watching this.

I don’t think where are ways to fix this team. Standings show clearly what kind of tendencies are in NBA today.

All old teams are around .500 (MIL/PHO/LAC/LAL/GSW) and young teams are on TOP (OKC/HOU/MEM/CLE/ORL if healthy). We could add teams in prime which are clearly better too BOS/NY/DAL/DEN. Also where are couple young teams on the rise SAN/DET/ATL in next season. Looks like Young with 4 big wings (Hunter/Johnson/Daniels/Risacher) could be very interesting project.

i really hope they have a plan, as this team is atrocious to watch. just free Steph already and embrace the tank.

GSW keep to play dwarf lineups and deserve to lose.
Curry cannot play SG, Hield cannot play SF, Wiggins cannot play PF, etc.

My rotation for this game would be:
PG Curry 32, Schroeder 16
SG Hield 24, Moody 12, Waters 12
SF Wiggins 36, Santos 12
PF Anderson 28, Jackson-Davis 12, Looney 8
C Jackson-Davis 20, Looney 16, Post 12
I should be on Lacob payroll...

The point is we could get 8th - 10th draft pick independent if we would tanking or playing at full strength. We won’t catch WAS/POR/UTA/NOLA/BKN/CHA/TOR if we would tanking and won’t win more than others except CHI + 1 one more team at best, if we trying to win.

Can we get something good at draft for 8th-10th picks?

at present we have a 15% chance at a top 4 pick. that's the only lifeline this dumpster fire of a team has so hopefully we don't f it up

1 more loss and we fall behind Chicago and that becomes a 20%+ chance

They aren't going to trade Steph or Draymond when they're thinking about the future of this franchise more than any other player should. They aren't asking to trade future picks. They're fine with being terrible. I think it's more likely they trade wiggins. But it didn't make sense why they signed a bunch of vets to long term deals if they are looking to preserve the future. This front office is a mess.

The front office is telling the public Steph Curry's time line is the only one that matters. The players and coach are saying the future matters more than present. This is just laughable at this point. Whatever draft season is coming early since it seems like we will be keeping our firsts.

I forgot about these draft chances. It would be nice to get TOP4 pick.

Probably right. The Raptors won this game during the minutes Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl played.

In this draft I promise 8-10 is going to be loaded with incredible talent compared to the last few drafts.

I mean I'm seeing Tre Johnson mocked in 8-10 who would probably be the best prospect we've drafted in decades besides Steph

Notice the similarities of those who are on top? You'll stink for a good long while, skillfully use the opportunity to offload old "guard" for the up-and-coming talent, and stockpile multiple high lottery picks over 7-8 years, eventually something will click. I know there are exceptions, but those are what I call Cohenian orgs. Not many of those around.

I don't make boards for teams drafting that high because they should really take the best talent. And I would never draft anyone going forward "because Kerr will or won't play them". But my board looks something like this right now (gun to my head):

1. Coop
2. Dylan
3. Fears
4. Newell
5. Fland
6. Kasparas
7. VJ
8. Sorber
9. Ace
10. Queen

Only 1-4 are pretty rigid in my mind right now. The talent runs much deeper than this top 10. You still have Demin, Philon, Tre Johnson, and a bunch of other guys like McNeeley and Knueppel that I don't even like but are being mocked in the Top 10. It's a friggin great Freshmen draft. The other classes are awful though. And I really haven't dug in to the intls yet.

I can predict right now that Sorber will probably be there for us on Draft night. He's awesome. We won't take him. And I'll be pissed.

This class is really lacking big wings. It's Cooper, Bailey, Egor, Asa, Noa, Rasheer, Carter Bryant? That's pretty much it in the first round. Everyone else is either a guard or a center.

I mean every class lacks big wings. Every team lacks big wings. Everyone wants big wings because they are so rare. And of the ones you mentioned honestly maybe only Coop and Bailey can truly be big wings. Egor is really more like a point guard or point PF. Asa is probably going to end up a stretch big.

Doesn't surprise me in the least. Most people are sheep. Until Givony moves off Ace, the mocks will all have him there.

TBH I really don't understand why we're not interested in Zion. Looking at these kids and I don't really see a no 1 option. Maybe Dylan has the best shot, but I'd take a shot on Zion who's only 24.

I had to look up "Rasheer". Was not on my radar. I can already tell why people are talking about him. I'll say this.

Look at his 3P% from the previous two seasons and look at his FT% over all 3 seasons before you fall in love with this guy.
