A lot of “fans” are fake who are really trolls.

They never post in the board and all of a sudden pretend to create a discussion thread like “are we better without Durant” or “it is so much fun without Durant”

Yes. Yes, again.

I'm with you bro. I put them into 2 buckets. 1) haters, they want to break up the dynasty. 2) dump and stupid Dubs's fan, bangwagon. Clearly, these were not Warriors before 2014

Doesn't really matter what any of us want if he's unhappy and ready to depart.

Obviously Kleiman can't say anything even if it has been decided... but since we have 9 more days...

Obviously since KD joined us 3 years ago, I have followed KD very closely and read and watched all the crap and interviews available about him. It seems to me that Rich Kleiman himself is the one who likes NY the most, wanting to roll with the big shots in Manhattan, Wall St, "run the Knicks one day" etc, instead of KD himself. It is a weird vibe.

Because of all the KD to the Knicks speculation he’s going to resign with us out of spite.

My first thought was KD's decision may be based on whether the Warriors win the title or not. Thinking about it further, I couldn't decide if KD is more or less inclined to stay if the Warriors win or lose.

Many believed KD came to the Warriors as part of some long-term decision, but now many believe it was short-term. Maybe he honestly doesn't know.

If KD gets the supermax with GSW then can Klay get the max?

KD can get the 35% max without using up the super max slot.

Klay's max is 30% max unless he makes the All NBA team which will make him eligible for the super max.

Not you zimpy specifically but I am amazed that so many people don't understand basics like this on the board, but they go on and say the Warriors cannot afford the stars.

I am really convinced that KD is the type of person that can be swayed easily and frequently (Kleiman and NY; whatever Draymond said the last couple of days, whatever Kyrie discussed with him recently etc) He might have a general idea, but he is inherently insecure and even if he has "decided", he can also be swayed last second.

This is very unlike LeBron, who is a master planner and others just work for him towards his goals.

I see they can but they just go into luxury tax hell, especially if they bring Green back as well.

This injury has muddled the situation.

Because before his injury, he seemed more connected to his teammates than in a long time.

He celebrated with them after big plays or shots and seemed really angry when calls went against him or if he didn't get calls.

He seemed to be feeling the competition, really cared about winning the title again. So of course in the heat of a battle, you're going to be more tight with the teammates.

They're already in luxury tax hell. Look at their bench.

If KD left, they wouldn't be able to bring in a real good starter to replace him, at least not for a year.

Seems like the CBA was designed only to allow one super Max on a team or one $35-40 million a year contract without the team getting deep into luxury tax.

It sucks for the Warriors now but without a cap, the big market teams would eventually just dominate or at least would be the only ones able to sustain high payrolls year after year.

This... and the team's revenue can support the payroll. They don't need to lose much with that payroll, if any.

Some markets' revenue structure cannot afford a dime above the tax line, but that doesn't mean other markets including GSW cannot afford it. Revenue is shared but it is not a fully communist system. Many fans fail to understand this.

if he can't take the narrative that we can win without out him, what he will do if we stomp him next year (if he joins the clippers) ? If he joins the Knicks i am not sure if you can even make the playoffs, or go past round 1. You are no building a competitive team there in 1 year, no mater who the other all star is there in NY.
Staying here, chill the f out, and win rings is just best thing for him to do. You might not get credit on ESPN shows, but who will give a f, when you join hall of fame with multiple rings.

The thought has crossed my mind. He's clearly a reactionary type so I could see it pushing his decision.
