Re:Collins

Absolutely we should measure him with a yardstick if the media is. The point of an active player coming out is that they have to deal with things ACTIVE players would deal with - the locker room, free agency. Even retired players have to face media scrutiny. Amaechi did. Kwame did. Why is Collins propped above those people? He's likely out of the league before this announcement.

That has nothing to do with Collins himself, but the media and how they portray these people. Instead of giving out the truth, they prefer a romanticizing story. Which is complete bull :censored: . I see actually brave people come out all the time with something to lose, and seeing how the media portrays Collins is a slap in the face to those people.

I can agree with this...it was and in some places is still a front page story...

Indiana are good.

How did so many teams pass on Hibbert?

Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard (Bulls-Nets series).

If King wasn't an idiot making that trade, they'd probably have Dwight actually. Don't think Magic would have been able to pass up on Lillard/Barnes/Drummond + Marshon + future picks. I think they could have gotten something for Lopez too in a S&T to add to that.

Drummond > Vucevic + Harkless.

And King got extended! Wow all you have to do is get a bunch of players high priced players whose talent level doesn't match their salary and get them to the first round in a weak conference and you get an extension? I honestly think most of the people on this forum could be better GMs than King.

Did MarShon even get more than 10 mpg this season? He was in the doghouse almost the entire year and I barely saw him in the playoffs. Somebody will get a bargain in him this offseason.

He was toyed with constantly, he would go in for two minutes and be pulled inmediately, sometimes he was victimized defensively, other times he wasn't doing anything wrong at all basically he was treated exactly the way you treat someone when you don't want them to succed. All of that to play Stack who got no stops and consistently airballed J's.

Monta and Larry Sanders reportedly get into. The real story here is...maybe we can convince the Bucks to keep Monta and trade Sanders on the cheap!?

Someone needs to take Kahn's job as worst NBA GM, and I elect the Bucks, wasteland for Warriors bloated contracts.

Apparently Kings want Monta. Bahahahaha. It's the perfect marriage of delinquent, awful player joining a delinquent, awful team.

Monta on that team would be a disaster. BUT that means Tyreke is probably out, which means...

More likely it means that if they can't keep Tyreke, they'd be interested in Monta. I'd be surprised if Monta is their first choice.

But it is the Kings.....
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

If they wanted Tyreke they would have extended him last year...if any team ponies up 7m for him, he's gone as I doubt Sac would match.

Smart does like his Monta.

Perfect fit there, kind of.

If we actually traded them Lee and Jack for Tyreke and Patterson, theirs would be an interesting team at least. Lee and Jack to bring leadership, with Smart's core guys from the 2010 Warriors, and Demarcus Cousins for those of you still high on him. He'd just need Acie Law to complete the team.

i'd like our team
curry/tyreke
thompson/bazemore
barnes/rush
patterson/landry
bogut/ezeli

Im not really sure about patterson's game but i know he's added the corner 3.

God damn. Acie Law. Thanks for the jolt in perspective, remembering how far we've come lol. Hard to believe that was just two years ago.

Acie law is the perfect sf!! haha

Or don nelson's reasoning for benching curry: "He doesn't have any tattoos. You can't start in the NBA if you don't have tattoos"

So glad those years are over.

Apparently Ellis and Sanders got into a shoving match after game 3... man, Ellis is just a walking wrecking-ball. Hopefully the Bucks decide to keep him and we can go after Sanders.

FWIW that was one of the funniest Nelson quotes I'd heard.

On Ellis: One of the reasons we were able to tame the beast so to speak was because the Warriors were all he knew, he owed us for being a moped riding j-off. He owes nothing to the Bucks or any future teams. Kinda makes you wonder what he was actually like behind the scenes - we know he was Jackson's butt buddy but I wonder how much of a chemistry detriment he actually was.

Jack would be a sad camper after all his talk about this team being so fun, and having to deal with the Kings' dysfunctionality.

Him and Lee would probably drive down to keep hanging out with our squad instead. Lol.

So glad those years are over.

Curry does have some small, tasteful Davidson tattoo though.
