Wow, I think Nuggets have already hit their ceiling with the Jokic/Murray core. They supposedly have so much depth but apparently nobody who can defend.

Team needs defensive players and Murray is too inconsistent, not efficient enough.

Huge amount of money committed to these two players.

Other thing is, it may already be Malone's ceiling as a coach, either first or second round exit.

They are without 2 of their best wing players in Barton & Harris. I know they aren't world beaters, but they would have made a huge difference in terms of experience against Utahs wing players.

Jokic had his lunch handed to him today by the Stiffle Tower.

This Mavs vs Clippers series is entertaining. The Clippers had this act all year like they were already NBA Champions. I swear these guys don't know how to play together, they have to muddy these games up against Dallas because they don't have the level of cohesion and chemistry.

I think I'd rather have Wiseman and Wiggins than Embiid.

They really let Kawhi push off all the time don’t they?

Every time he dribbles into the paint.

That’s if he’s not lowering his shoulder initiating the content and getting calls.

Not much better than the stuff Harden pulls.

you can clearly see bubble basketball is another sport by the recent stint of effectiveness of gobert in the playoffs.

Just like they let people grab Steph but don't let Steph grab people. I respect the refs, but I do wonder what they think when they look back at 2 similar plays in a game and one is called one way and the other is called the other way.

Miami looks really good. They have a good chance in the second round.

Let down to see Portland and Orlando fall short two games in a row now....oh well. I guess Lakers and Bucks are just better.

Portland has some key players out. But Nurkic and Whitehouse are so soft. Meanwhile Howard is throwing people around but Lakers get the most FTs.

Lillard got too infatuated with the real long 3s. Don't even try to work for normal distance 3s. One problem is that they get trapped from about the 3 point line in and the Blazers centers aren't punishing the double-teams of Lillard and McCollum.

Hejonja is so bad. How was the scouting so wrong? He does dumb things, can't even hit open 3s at even an average clip. No business being on an NBA roster.

They're so thin on the front court. Melo is their best defender among forwards, that's how bad it is.

The Blazers are definitely impacted by Collins, Ariza, and Hood being out. The backcourt can't shoot quite like the Splash Brothers and they have no Draymond to go small and try to run you off the court.

The Lakers vs Blazers series does re-emphasize the need for a center.

I can't wait for Houston to play LAL. As much as we can hate Houston, I want to see leQueen and AD run out of air going a million miles.

for all the people who think that Jerry West walks on water, if the Clipps don't win it all will this taint his resume? I know the story goes that Kawhi would not have signed without PG but that was a lot to give up and they are not on long term contracts.

I don’t want to hear anybody referencing Deni Avdija in regards to Luka. There is no comparison.

And if anybody in the Warriors front office is thinking like this.....Dunleavy....they should be fired immediately.

Luka! B-A-W-B! Noice. Finally a series that looks like it can go either way. Taking the last shot to win (or lose the game)....wow.

I'm one of them.

Wow...they gave up a chit load for that guy...I didn't realize it was that many future picks. I guess that's how you gamble when you are pretty dang old yourself!

Of course, ask youself this. Do they EVER sniff a deep run in the playoffs for the next 5 years if they don't get Kawhi? Does Paul George come on board without Kawhi. You can almost think of it as those picks for BOTH the all-stars.

But yeah...if they crash and burn it's a loss on the GM chart for this year for sure.

No rookie would finish the game. He would start it though
