Had a random thought lately; when a player signs a minimum contract, how often have they been able to parlay that into a multi-year, bigger money deal? Once a player signs a minimum, do they ever get off that treadmill?

Here's a look at the numbers and some analytics on value: https://thefourpointplay.blog/2017/11/27/nba-free-agents-one-year/

Obviously this is something of prime importance when you're as top heavy and capped out as the Warriors, but the stats show you've really hit on your minimum contracts. David West, JaVale and Casspi are looking like inspired picks right now.

why did Donovan Mitchell drop to the 13th pick? Every aspect of his game is good.

There is a guy in the general board that calls curry a SG because his assist numbers aren't high enough. He also thinks 3 point shooting is relating to shooting guards, not PGs. No, I am not joking. Legitimately one of the funniest and dumbest thing I've ever read on this website.

Looking like steal of the draft along with Kuzma so far.

I just saw Kevin Love left the game with illness today. Was he sick of getting scored upon?

I'll confess it is really making me laugh watching the Cavs play "defense". I'm not saying they suck. I'm not saying they won't win tonight. I'm not even saying they couldn't beat us, as long as they have LeBron. But they really are a mess right now.

If you don't, I will. This is their worst team since Lebron is back, worse than injured Kyrie and Love from the 2015 final. However, a lot can change in the next few months. Different coach and a few trades can change many things. I'm awaiting to see what happens until the trade deadline, because as of right now I don't think they will make the NBA finals.

What is appalling is the way Kevin Love is currently being treated. I can't imagine the team turning on a player from the Warriors for missing a game due to illness in the playoffs, let alone a regular season game. The locker room seems to have gotten even worse than the telenovela-based drama that follows a team with Lebron in it. The only semblance of a leader in that team is a guy that has only one year in Wade. JR isn't a good player, but he was a vital guy to have as a positive influence in the team.

Obviously we don’t know any of these guys, and also don’t know the relationships they have with each other, but it seems from the outside that there is a major clash of personalities in there. Everyone seems to getting on Loves back and defending him against the treatment he seems to be getting from his teammates, but he may be not trying out there legit because he may be privately forced out of the clique that is LBJ, Wade, JR, Crowder, TT. He may be sick of the boys club inside th Cavs, which I think it is, so he’s just stopped trying in practice.

I also think that Kyrie choosing to leave that squad when he did has left an irreparable rip in that teams fabric. It’s done more damage than anyone in that situation would care to admit. He’s the 1st person in LBJs career that has basically said, “Lebrons a wank stain” and cut and run from him, but he’s also gone onto great success without him. I have a huge amount of respect for Irving now for everything that has gone down. His move away from LeBron couldn’t have gone any better, and it’s rattled an entire organisation to the core, that happens to be our major rivals. :D

Lebron flat out walked past Love in a similar scenario last year.

Yep, pretty messed up. Surprised Love hasn’t forced a trade.

I don't like that Lebron drafted Durant for the all star game. They face each other in the NBA finals the past 3 years, With that said I don't like the idea of them playing on the same team even in a all star game. It would have been proper for the 4 warriors players to be on the same team for the all star game. Curry is not good at drafting, He did fine by taking GIannis 1st, but than he messed up with his 2nd pick by not taking Anthony Davis or Kyrie.
