I also think its important that Kerr, Santa Clara's coach, and even Illinois coach that didn't play him enough, all have incredibly positive things to say about him. Again, not much different than Izzo or Kerr loving what Dray brought even though it crossed the line at times.
Yea that's what I read as well. Dray gets away with it because he's an integral member of the team. When you're building your way up especially more established veterans it's going to rub them the wrong way. Grant Williams is probably similar and he's been run out of 2 teams because of his mouth. So if you're going to do that you really need to be on top of your game at all times. Dray said Podz came in like that as a rookie telling dray he needed to pick it up.
