Just send kuminga home until January 15th.

Hopefully we can do something like jk for malik and keon. Then turn around and trade moody and podz for herb jones.

Curry/malik
Keon/Melton
Herb/gp2
Jimmy/horford
Dray/post

Buddy/Seth/gui/tjd/Richard to mix around as needed. Think that fixes our defense and gives us another guy we can run offense through. Hopefully costs minimal future draft assets but id give up a first this year for this lineup.

Keon is UFA at end of season, right? Doesn't that make him a rental? Hopefully Melton will bring what Keon would.

The mindset of, "This guy is worthless. Let's trade him!" is one of the many things to love about the dialogue here.

(... so what do you think you'll get in return if you trade someone that is indeed useless?)

Top it off with their delusions. Pisses me off.

Boo. Hater.

Absolutely. These kids belong in the JRich, Jamison, Maggette, Monta era teams. Tarnishing the GOAT.

I mean Podz is essentially say he have it all. Kuminga is fast Maggette.

MDJ better have a trade locked and loaded.

We all know what's up, right? This is not a serious team. This is not an organization trying to win anymore. You can't have 10 guards on the roster, continue to play Draymond at the 5, and pretend you're trying to actually win NBA games.

This isn't the midget league, and even if all these guards were actually good -- which they're not -- you still would have no chance.

Watch if you must. But this team has NO CHANCE to compete.

I mean, to be fair to those posting the trade proposals, the stickied trade thread on this board is titled "Which team wants our bad players for their good players?"

Tbh I don't really care about next year's team. Realistically this is probably our last shot.

Most of the time it's going to work out for them. Sometimes one of our non-threats will have a good night and everyone will scream at the top of their lungs about "WHY DOESN'T MOODY GET TRADED AND PLAY THIS GUY MORE???"

Everything averages out over time. If you feature guys like Will Richard and Pat Spencer eventually if they hit enough open shots they too go to the top of the scouting report and then it's game over. Maybe that's what happened with Moody, I hope not. He had a hot streak to start the season and is coming down to earth. It happened to Klay all the time, we just don't talk about it 15 years into his career.

Moody's 3pt shooting isn't an issue, whether he's hot or not during any given stretch.

It's his inability to dribble, get his own shot, deliver a decent pass, rebound consistently or finish in traffic.

And he's not a versatile defender. He can't handle quick guards or big forwards.

He's limited. His talent level is just far too low for him to be anything much better than a useful 3D wing off the bench. If he's a starter, he better be your worst starter or your team likely isn't going to be a winning team.

For good measure, it is at least possible I named it that back when I was a mod

I went to the game. I think Moody is hurting. He runs like he has the knee tendinitis JK pretended to have.

Lol. This post epitomizes the feeling of most here. Create excuses for the golden child and make wild unfounded falsehoods about the other guy. The trade deadline can’t come soon enough.

Kuminga: -4.0 BPM, -2.5 EPM #321, 56% TS
Moody: -1.3 BPM, +1.2 EPM #89, 57.2% TS

Moses hasn't been amazing or anything but Kuminga has not had a good season so far. Agree that it is indeed time to trade JK in 1 month, 12 days. Sacramento bound!

Thought Podz started out pretty good in the game. The way he was looking to score (and converted) was effective. I think he could make that flip shot his bread and butter. If only he could do that regularly he wouldn't be coming up as trade fodder

Kerr's rotations are still bizarre and don't make sense. I think we're incapable of being a team that can beat these better teams without a structure and second/third units that bring something the starters (old) don't have. You're seeing these impressive performances with younger guys bringing an edge-- Spencer, Santos, Post, Moody. And their minutes are all over the place. Kerr looks simply bad at getting the most out of his role players.

If he has an expiring salary...some other team cap relief if included in the deal.

Let's say we package Kuminga for better (more expensive player) along with a pick or two....Then you include Podz, Heild to make the deal work AND that other team can give Podz a try or just cut them/buy them out.

So yes, our crap players have value to OTHER teams who are trying shed salary/rebuild.

Teams have traded less for more.

Heat acquire Norman Powell for Kyle Anderson and Kevin Love to the Clippers. Clippers did not want to give Norman Powell a long term deal.

Heat acquire Davion Mitchell for PJ Tucker and a 2nd round pick to the Raptors. Raptors did not want to give Davion Mitchell a new deal coming up on restricted free agency.

My point was that Moody is playing hurt and that it’s not working. He should stay home with the training staff take the next three games off.

What’s that got to do with the trade deadline?
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.
