First Aldridge, then Love. Maybe Lee is next.

A week ago wasnt a certain poster saying that Noel would be a top 20 player, Thompson top 35 and Waiters top 50? Odd that they were all offered for a top 20ish player...

I must be getting old, or have killed too many brain cells with beer. That haul for Love seems like an absolute smash and grab job. Love is very good, but a chance to get Noel, TT and Waiters for him seems like an amazing haul.

PLEASE offer us that for Lee. I'll even throw in Biedrins

Seriously... Minny's lineup would be Rubio, Waiters, D Will, TT and Noel with Pekovic and Shved coming off the bench. o.O

Seems like a no brainer right? That's why it makes me think this rumour is bogus.

I'd turn that down too. That trade is crap. Love is better than anyone in this draft, and it's not even close. Dion Waiters is trash. TT is a role player on a good team.

That sure is a toss up, but I think the Lakers right now have the potential to still sign Howard, so I would say the Celtics are in worse shape at the moment.

If Dwight re-signs then its the celtics, if he walks. then probably the lakers. They'll be stuck in the middle, because kobe won't let them tank a year, especially one of his twilight years.

Yesterday, rumors was that Dwight wanted nothing to do with D'Antoni. And another rumor had the Warriors as a candidate now?

Think about the Warriors' cap situation and the Lakers' stated desire to not participate in a S&T. Then ask yourself what are the odds that the Warriors end up with Howard. It will mostly be a PR move with Howard being wined and dined in SF or maybe somewhere along the peninsula.

All depends on what the Lakers want. Is the price too heavy to ask for? I think their demands are simply outrangeous for someone on the way out

Does the whole coach/head of player operations thing work in any sport? I know it works poorly in football and is generally a failure in soccer, IDK why it would ever make sense to give one man that much responsibility and power. What if you fire him? You'll spend year cleaning up his mess. And what if he's a good coach but bad with player acquisitions? It's incredibly risky and definitely a Clippers type move.

When you look at it, Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Andre Igoudala, Eric Gordon is a decent lineup.
