Speaking of nightmares...what are the Kings doing? I know they're down on Hield, but he's still an asset. I'm not surprised Domatas was rated higher than Haliburton, but long term Hali seems to be the better bet. Not only that, but don't the Kings suck on defense? Like worst in the league bad? So they trade a fine defender for a sieve.

I can tell they love Davion, but that was still a stupid pick and it looks even dumber now as it somehow justified them streamlining their guards.
Sabonis and Barnes are their defensive bigs???

Holmes is great.

Let's not jump right to "great" ... Holmes is serviceable, above average even, and he fouls too much.

He makes almost $10M. What kind of deal would you make to match salary?

Wiseman is the only thing I see that works reasonably. So that's a non-starter for the Warriors.

*cue the Jeopardy music*

And someone get the Price is Right losing music queued up as well, please and thank you

And now we wait, Ibaka to GS. Can’t stay healthy, huge net negative to the Clippers, reb-rate on par with Nemo, and is a horrible perimeter defender these days. What a fit

Yeah, I don't think it happens and I don't think the Warriors even consider it for more than half a second.

Greater point being that Ibaka to GS makes no sense on any level yet the sheer volume of posts about him, despite not being a fit or having any way to acquire him, will be repeated for days

Because this is the GB now, apparently

I would love it if we could somehow trade for Dwight. We can't go on playing with such a depleted front court. If Draymond or Wiseman have any further setbacks or miss any time during the playoffs it could be disastrous.

Isn't Ibaka coming back from back surgery?

Yeah that's not a good look, to depend on two guys with back problems.

In fact, I suspect if the Warriors didn't have high expectations for the season, Draymond already would have gotten back surgery.

Dwight has taken bull in a china shop to a new level this year. What a fit he would be...

Slim pickings left at center.
I asked the Magic board of they thought Robin Lopez would be bought out. Their answer was no, they don't think Lopez will be bought out.

Ennis Kanter Freedom is availble but I want a deffensive center and he is more of an offensive center. Also apparently any team that signs him will be boycotter by both China and Turkey. Not Warriors Tv or Tshirt sales in China if we sign Ennis Kanter Freedom.
Ennis is only halfway washed up. His offense whichbwas great is declining. He never was a shot blocker. He still is putting up great per minute rebounding numbers. He is still like a rock, he can't move but he can't be moved and if you run into him you will get hurt.

We can have him. This price is cutting Damion Lee or JTA to make a roster spot for him. How much donwe piss off Steph by cutting Lee and how does it affect Stephs shooting? I would cut Lee and emediatkey resign Lee for the next season if that was a legal move. I don'tbthink thatbmove is legal. I don't know whatbhas created a supeior culturevon the Warriors but Lee might be part of that. I figure Moody will jump ahead of Lee next year and with Moody, Curry, Payton, Poole and Klay that is a black court deep enough to not need Lee but Lee is still a decent 12th man who knows the sytsem. Only, Steph, Klay Dray, Looney and Iguodalla have been with the Warriors longer than Lee. Lee played 10 minutes per game for 30 games on the 2019 team that lost to the Raptors but Lee did not play at all in the playoffs. The other option would be cutting JTA. Somebody might sign JTA. Lee is getting older, and has more value to the Warriors than other teams. I don't think other teams will pick up Lee when they can get younger guys that do what Lee does and have more potential for improvement. There reallly isn't much reason to expext Lee to improve but he is a good 12th man the way he is.

Next choice cut Chiozza and sign Tacko Fall. celtics and Cavs cut him. Clearly something's ng is wrong with him. But I am fascenated with Tacko Fall. He is the oppositebof Small. He makes 7 footers look like boys. Tacko can block shots 5 feet to his left or right. He does not score well in the NBA but in the G-League he can have 30 point games. I swear Tacko is going to make it in the NBA. Taco for the high shots and Draymond for everything low would mean other teams would have to completely abandon inside scoring. In central florida vs Duke sweet 16 Tacko blocked Zion twice so hard on the ball that Zion went crashing to the floor. Zion shot a few 3 pointers because Tacko would not leave the paint but Zion turning into a 3 point shooter and abandonning the drive is a victory even though Zion hit his 3s. Tacko really changes games. Lobs to Tacko end up as high percentage unstoppable scores. But something must be wron. Only seeing highlights distirts perceptions. Tacko was not a scoringmachine at the NBA level.

Youngbfolkescasked if Mark Eaton could play in the current NBA. My answer is yes Mark Eaton could play in this league and be good, Tacko reminds me of Mark Eaton. Some team is going to figure out how to use Tacko. It might as well be the Warriors. We might have to play zone when Tacko is on the floor. If any team can do things like play two types of games it is the Warriors because they are snart. Tacko can bang with the big men and soften them up for Looney. Tacko is too big and strong for everybody but he can't defend small men awaybfrom the hoop. So cut Chiozza and sign Tacko to a two way. Let Tacko get Bjelica and Looney some rest.

Then just before playoff time depending on how Wiseman is doing we decide whether to give Tacko Damion Lee's roster spot for the playoffs. Tacko will be a good NBA player two year from now, better than what we will find with a late first round draft pick.

Next option replace Chiozza with that bag boy we got blocking shots in Santa Cruz. He is like 6' 11"" and has been amoung the G-league shot blocking leaders for two years.

Next option grab the best availble G-league center, preferably a big guy. Again cut Chiozza. Sign the guy two a two way and if Wiseman still can't rebound or bang with big men by the end of the year give the G-league Center Damion Lee's roster spot for the playoffs.

Somebody needs to pound onopposing centers for 10 minutes a game to lighten the load for Looney and Bjelica. We want somebody physical. The best G-league center mmay be a finnesse guy but we don't want that. We want either a banger or a shot blocker.

If Wiseman is playing well in April then Lee keeps his roster spot and our two way G-league center gets an invite to summer league. But if Wiseman is like last year's Wiseman and just stands and watches the other team grab rebounds then we are better off playing a g-league guy in the playoffs then giving Wiseman all the back up minutes. We can put Wiseman in to block Ayton's shots but against everbody else we will need somebody that knows how to rebound.

Hey, just re-sign Jordan Bell for a couple of 10 days, like they did last year. He likes to block shots and rebound.

Has a team which signed Kantner to shore up their playoffs roster ever won or made a deep playoff run with him getting major minutes?

Celtics or Blazers? Anyone else?

You need to open a roster spot to sign someone to a 10 day, unless a player goes into health and safety (Covid) protocols.

You are right. They'd have to pick one of the likely candidates. But whoever they cut to do it, I'd rather have Jordan frickin Bell for 5-8 minutes a game than Enes Canter or Robin Lopez.
