For a guy that "Can't be recruited" he seems like he WANTs to be recruited.

Durant will probably take till July 4th to make a decision. Kawhi seems like his mind is made up maybe Monday he decides. Kyrie, Klay and Kemba already locked in. KD has the most variables to consider.

So that means he's not going to meet with Myers and Steph and Klay on FaceTime?

Is Steph still going to NY?

If KD is snubbing Myers and Steph, not a good sign.

They probably already met buddy. You can meet at any time. Things just aren't formal until after 6 pm Eastern time.

Woj says Nets.

They will also sign DJ.

So he chose Kyrie and DJ over Steph and Klay.

Strange basketball decision but whatever, thanks for the titles and the memories.

The other thing is, I thought Kleimann was big on the Knicks and the decision is the Nets? That's got to be a blow to their friendship.

Sure the Nets were a playoff team and they have some nice young players. But I don't think they have better basketball situations than the Warriors or the Clippers. And maybe not that much better than the Knicks, especially if their young players like Knox and Barrett pan out in a couple of years. They may be as good or better than Levert.

I guess being in the NY area may mean more for his TV production ambitions but I have no idea, it seems LA has a lot of production companies and also, a lot of tech companies like Netflix and now Apple are buying TV shows and movies.

I don't think there's an advantage in any of the areas, though if they're doing scripted shows and movies, I guess there are a lot of actors living in NY.

Maybe he wants to just live in NY area.

With KD, I need to see his signature on paper. A promise is only a promise, witness Jordan and Dallas.

Might be a blessing in disguise for the Warriors.

While I feel KD's game will still be solid after the achilles given that he's an elite shooter with great height and length, I don't feel he'll return to elite status to warrant that 5 year deal (especially $50 million at age 35).

At the time of my post, D'Angelo Russell wasn't part of the deal, but now that he is, Russell is a solid talent that gives the Warriors a 3rd ball handler (after Curry & Green) and shooter.

Hope he's happy with Kyrie.

They both have personalities which are difficult to mesh with others.

So maybe they can mesh with each other.

Someone posted a story from Marcus Thompson about why KD ultimately left:

I totally buy it.

By the time KD joined, the Warriors no longer hung out together all the time like they did in the 2014-15 season.

Like the story says, Curry was a family man by then and KD was still single. Maybe KD and Klay should have both gone trawling for pussy.

But KD seemed to have his own entourage and maybe he didn't really want to try to force himself into the bond the players already had.

He did his own Youtube channel thing and Nike always seemed to have him do events during the offseason, while Curry and Klay usually went to China.

It's too bad, the best thing they could have done was to go on some vacations together, like the Banana Boat crew.

But yeah the Warriors core just got older and had more familial responsibilities, while KD had his own circle/entourage.

I guess all the success on the court couldn't fill the empty hole in his heart.

Everyone in the media trying to paint KD as some kind of victim of the Warriors oppressive abuse.

"he wasn't completely accepted by fans like the others" (bruh, you joined 3 guys that were already on the team for 5-6 years, it takes time)
"he didn't get MVP chants like Steph Curry" (wahhhhh, who cares. And no offense, but Steph is a lot more likable of a person. He's drama free.)
"Draymond disrespected him" (Dray should have done it behind closed doors, but he was scheming with Kyrie to leave and all)
"Myers made that joke at the rally!" (um, he was just saying Steph put in time on crappy Warriors teams)
"Team doctors misdiagnosed him!" (so did his doctors)

I've heard every narrative under the sun. I hope these are media created for the most part. But when I hear his buddies like Jay Williams and Perk saying it it feels like it's coming from him.

And then you got MTIII saying dumbass stuff like "The duo of Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. So much potential. Not enough time. It never got to be what it could have been." THATS BECAUSE KD LEFT! you twat

That's pretty funny. They could have done better than two titles going on three until KD got hurt, in the 3 years he was here? He should explain what it could have been.
