I forgot the details of Chriss’ contracts last season
I think Smiley would need to clear waivers. Considering he's 20 and has been productive in the GLeague and even in the NBA when healthy he'd probably get snatched up.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

I’d take him if he’s waived or bought out.

Looney and Wiseman coming back, Paschall playing better and Smiley returning from the GLeague in March. I really don't think freeing up a roster spot for Cousins is worth it when we still badly need a playmaker off the bench.

Cousins had a few good games, but he really can't move any more. His defense is terrible and he shoots 55% of his shots from three and makes 33%. He might be OK for someone like the Nets or Lakers to play 10 minutes, but I can't see any value for the Warriors.

His defense was never good.

Used to be more effective at attacking the basket though I haven't watched him play this year.

I think Cousins is the opposite direction of where Kerr wants to be taking this team.

Cousins has averaged 9ppg 7rpg 37%fg. That’s a really low shooting percentage for a center.

January Stats - 8ppg 7rpg 2apg 32 FG% 29 3P%
February Stats - 11ppg 8rpg 2apg 42 FG% 37 3P%

The stats tell you he is getting his legs back, which after the setback he had is totally understandable. I could see him slowly putting it together by getting back physically, that’s how it was when he was here till he had that slip to begin the Clippers series. Beyond the KD and Klay injuries it was Cousins limping up and down the court in the Finals that was also a huge challenge.

In previous years with vet centers I would always be in favor of rolling the dice. But at this point with Wiseman on the team it just doesn’t make sense to sacrifice his minutes to continue to develop.

I really don’t think Smiley will get snatched up. He’s such a project and looked ghastly in the actual NBA last season (and he basically hasn’t played since then).

I feel like he had at least one pretty good showing with the big club. I mean, he barely got to play. I think people mostly just remember the epic rim stuff he had.

I still think we should take a look at Aaron Gordon. He does the same stuff as Oubre more or less, and he's under contract at 16.5m next season. He's not yet 26 and from the South Bay to boot. Also a more natural fit at the four when we go death lineup.

No woman looks at Smileys body and thinks, “I need some of that!”

I think they want to dump Zingins contract. It's looking very very bad now and they need help right away for luka. Maybe Wiggins or they are trying to say Wiggins is a negative player and trying to trick us making us think KP is still an allstar so they take Wiggins+Minny pick for KP
