They won’t do it… but if Philly realizes they totally messed up moving everything for Harden & decide to tear it down what do we offer for Embiid? Do we offer anything?

I had to stop banging this drum because of his questionable playing status but I'm all about this. If there's a deal where we can move Poole/Wiseman and wind up with Isaac, that's a total homerun.
And if we could somehow get a useful expiring veteran wing in the process.. overload. Someone like Alec Burks, Reggie Bullock, KCP, even lesser options like Royce O Neale.. if people could get past the shock of dealing Klay, that kind of move could help us bridge from this contending version of the Warriors to the next

Does Isaac even have knees anymore? He's been in the league for 5 seasons, played 27, 75 and 35 games, then zero games for 2 straight seasons. He'll be 25 by the time he can get back on an NBA court again and have played 136 games in 5 NBA seasons by that stage. When he was 'healthy', it's not like he was a stud either. He's also now an ordained preaching minister, we had enough of that ess with Mark Jackson.
Trading Klay or Poole/Wiseman for Isaac? I think you guys are getting too into the nose beers.
You think FNQ has ever hoovered arena schneef?

crzyyafrican makes the best sigs, quite frankly

Game 5 against Memphis nearly sent me back my glory days. Lucky we won game 6, because I was going to send a giant bill to the Golden State Warriors for rehab.

Getting on the record early:
Want no part of Rudy Goober or Ain'ten. Both are just way too severly limited for today's quicker game.
If trading for either of those guys is the only option for the off season.... I run it back with the same exact Warriors roster, incluinding Wiggins.

If you can upgrade Wiggins+Poole+picks to an elite SF do it. Otherwise hold the line and run it back.

What wing is out there that’s available, that will help the current timeline and not hurt the future timeline? There isn’t one.
If they believe that Poole can mimic Curry well enough then you can’t give him up. If they believe Kuminga is also the future of the wing spot then adding that player hurts his ascension as well.
I just don’t see us doing anything other than running it back.
Really the only questions is about money. I just don’t see the Warriors letting money be the issue. I’m not worried about Wiggins/Poole contracts as much as I am about Dray and Klay’s next deals and likely reduced roles.

The nice thing is that we have essentially offered them max contracts at every step of their career so not like they’ve ever felt short changed. In 2-3 years they’ll be winding down and hopefully take significantly less while the Poole/Kuminga/Moody/Wiseman core starts to take over.

Dray I don’t think will be an issue. He’s taken less before and has an eye to the future. He knows what’s up. Klay I’m less sure of. Tho 2 years from now is a long time.

If we make it to the championship series as looks extremely likely, why would you want to do anything but run it back with roughly the same team? (If possible, salary-wise.) Is this coming from the same people who complained all year that we were doomed who always want to empty the roster for some new, unproven commodity? Meanwhile, the players we have are either playing great, are disposable, or are really young.

I'm sure those teams are anxious to take on his $47M salary next season.

Wonder how much say Beal has in trying to bring in NBA ready players if he stays in DC....
Deni and #10 for Poole?

Article on Bleacher Report has some Cleveland beat writer saying they will target Wiggins this offseason.
Outside of Mobley there's not a ton I'd be interested in on Cleveland's roster. Garland looks great but too repetitive with Poole & Curry.
Maybe bring in a 3rd team & move Allen for pieces GSW wants?
I'd prefer to keep Wiggins but the fact that interest is already leaking is a good sign if GSW decides they want to control the cap a little.

assuming they want to unload Love in that deal. If that was the case, we'd better get back Okoro, the #14, and maybe a future pick.
Return to Golden State Warriors
