So, I don't think we can glean anything on the offensive end from Wiseman's G-League stint. His physical advantages are too great to really transfer much over to the NBA level.
What I will say is I think his timing/anticipation on defense has looked more consistent than last year.
As long as he's not a blackhole on offense with the big club, I think he should get Bjelica's minutes, unless Bjelica actually starts hitting 3s again. Come playoff time I don't think either Wiseman nor Bjelica get minutes anyways.
I don't pin it on Wiseman that the Warriors FO decided to not bring in another bigman to lessen the pressure for Wiseman to produce right away.
The Warriors HAVE to give him PT as much as possible including the playoffs. If it comes to an emergency situation they need to have him as ready as possible. Also people are STILL making declarations based on how he's going to be playing in a month and we have no idea.
Regular season, sure.
Playoffs? Ehhhhhh. He's going to have to earn that one, and his delayed comeback hasn't made it easier for him to do that.
